I thought It was actually ((ATK/(DEF+1))+1, bascially to rule out a 0 divisor (in case of ef going to 0 by debuffs or whatever I guess) and a log10(0). So it’s if my example had 999 as divisor +1 = 1000. But let me check damage formula again, I might remember it wrong.

EDIT: @Delcas You’re right, they didn’t put that extra parenthesis I’m using on the divisor. If that’s the correct formula, it’d get weird if def went to 0, as the whole factor would tend towards positive infinite.

at some point the math still didn’t work out -_-.

I was seeing some close to accurate stuff from x = ~0.87 off by basically 0 or 1 point.
but that seemed to work only on low level enemies? When enemies near the characters level were around it didn’t hold.

Well, how are you seeing all other dps class builds?

By your own logic, all got nerfed, why should linker give you a free pass to one shot? A bit unfair.

I have 2 linkers myself. One at 330 other at 247.
I can one shot everything right now with link hk mm combo on one and fire ball link hk on another… No other classes have that one shot masses every 20 seconds combo

Dethrone has 2 overheat with only 16 sec CD.
Redel only did 1 over 25 sec.

What do you think about CON? Should we drop it entirely if going SPR gives summon defense which gives Sorc defense through riding?

everyone has more base hp, also there is less damage floating around, in the end CON isnt really needed unless you are going to get hit a lot, wich in sorc case isnt really it

Is attacque coquile really ignore magic defense? or it’s just mistranslation?

oh wow, just saw something, refine scales different depending on the item rarity.

white and blue scale the same
purple is 50% stronger than white/blue refine wise
orange is 100% stronger than white/blue refine wise

how much diffrence in cost and trancendence?

trancendence stays the same at a flato 20% per lvl

cost, blue is around 50% more expensive than white
purple is around 66% more expensive than blue
orange is 62% more expensive than purple.

they all however are around 1/10th to refine compared to before, with an upgrade from 14 to 15 of a lvl 315 weapon costing
white:123k
blue:185k
purple:309k
orange:494k

I think now either ^0.x is around 0.87 or its directly affected by level.

The scale went off when enemies were near/higher level then the char, but then any time it was an overlevel the ~0.87 held up.

Possibly enemy defense is just getting boosted again due to level gap and as such that is decreasing the damage more than expected.

Leather mastery give Critical rate too? or this change for accuracy?

you dont get accuaracy from gloves anymore, leather mastery now just gives extra evasion and accuaracy, thats the point of the update. where did you get the idea of leather mastery giving crit rate if it isnt even mentioned…

EDIT: there might be the posibility of refine rates to be increased, a lot of people refining up to 20 without losing a lot of potential o_o

one person metioned above… give critical rate +30 in 3 leather equip and +50 in 4 leather equip

huh, then its 50 crit rate from using the weaker defensive set… they werent joking when they said that leather was going to be offensive.

just confirmed it ingame, swapped from full plate on mergen to full leather and won 50 accuaracy and 50 crit rate, the evasion bonus dissapeard tho… so you are going to get hit more often unless you go balls deep into dex and even then doubt you will have that much evasion since there is no evasion on boots anymore

edit: that means using the purple 315 set from free dungeon you get 110 crit rate for free, 1 every 2 lvls and all purple weapons from free dungeon have crit, you can end up with almost 300 crit rate base without counting gems or accesories

seems like they are reducing the grind for blessed shards and compensating somewhat with item refinement. it’s a good idea since anviling things was starting to become less important and is a cool idea. shard farming was limiting some people to a very tiny portion of the game content. silver is more universal and you can obtain it in many different ways thus opening up more content for the power grind.

leather, cloth and plate mastery are lvl 1 attributes, and no longer give bonuses for leveling

Leather: 30 crit/accuaracy with 3 piece, 50 crit/accuaracy with 4 pieces(THEY DONT STACK, is only 50 crit not 80)
Plate: 5% physical damage reduction with 3 pieces, 10% with 4 (NO IDEA IF THEY STACK LIKE BEFORE)
Cloth: 5% magic damage reduction with 3 pieces, 10% with 4(Again no idea if they stack since leather doesnt stack)

I noticed that it still 10% yesterday, but now become 70. so what’s that? still an evasion?

Wugushi is still a GREAT sustained dps class, took me 10 mins to solo all siaulia bosses, but when my poison pot depleted (fck), i was 5 minutes in and golem was just on half.

even tho numbers are not high, its still extremly reliable dps, 1000 from needle, 1400 from wugong gu were a total of 4800 every second with little to no down time.
