Oh, seems that must multi hit skills got nerfed rather hard in general, marching fire went from 10350% over 10 seconds to 5679, wich is still high but not stupid high.

guess damage was getting too high for multi hit skills for them to consider this nerfs, there were buffs to weaker skills however…

Previous it was 50 hits of 152% over 15 seconds, 7600%.

Cannon blast nerf is really severe, from 2300%? to 1285%. While 2 major skills of lancers got buffed crush lvl 5 1484% and quantain lvl 5 1284%, already on par with dragoon’s dethrone lvl 5 1238%.

false, it always was 30 hits so 4560%

if dethrone is at 1238% that means it got nerfed, was 700~ yesterday. and i think crush and quantain have higher values because they are lower on range

stabbing got buffed to 170%*15 at 15 from 112%*15, piercing got nerfed to 402%*size modifier from 677%*size modifier at 15. stabbing is now always better than piercing lol

ice blast has a prerequisite and has no additional utility (unlike pretty much all other cryo skills). Seems balanced enough in that sense

EDIT: actually isn’t it 32-33? 1 hit per 0.3 seconds, 10/0.3 = 33.3333

I’m glad they’re experimenting, these changes well, they suck. it’s a nerf. but, I hope they find the right balance soon. or, they completly redesign the kit.

just logged in and they gave me a rank 7, 8 cards and a lvl 280 card… not sure wich one i should try…, maybe my sorc but i also want to try archer…

edit: welp went with archer, i have 194 Crit rate at 288, 287 points in strength gives 719 physical attack while 287 points in dex gives 1438 critical attack, exactly the double. wich … idk if its really worth it? i have wugushi 3 so i guess not. also i have 17k base hp … with 0 con investment… pretty sure they buffed everyones base hp values.

The damage on them got nerfed too.
They’re all 40% or so of what they were before this particular patch now.
Coursing’s 1400 ~ 2478% over its 15 levels while Retrieve’s 1269 ~ 2070% over 10 levels (damage over entire durations, assuming 2 ticks per sec, not sure how fast it is).

Rush Dog better be a proper multihit now; starting with a fake multihit of less than 100% would be just silly.

pretty sure enhance are not flat additions, otherwise no skill with over 400 scaling would care unless its multi hit

Right now coursing/retrieve deals 1 tick per second in my experience in IToS, if they changed it to 2 ticks per second on KTest that was a huge boost, add the % damage it deals now and it was dreamy, perhaps too much. they reduced both duration and damage in order to reduce damage in quite an impressive way. In the current version I even bet that in PvP (not important I know, but it is important in a way, it has been a touchy topic for many, a hunter?! IN PVP?! WE’RE DOOMED kind of behaviour) coursing/retrieve are still halved.

If they’re going to reduce the duration and the damage due to lower duration they might aswell redesign the whole skill and make it do something more appropiate to the theme.

its the same thing, multiply skill factor by 50% then apply multi hit, it ends up being the same than getting a 3096% skill and then applying 50% more on it bam now its 4644%, doesnt really matter

Errr no, it’s a 50% damage increase no matter if it’s single-hit or multi-hit.

I wish we could give suggestions here and have our own test phase other than discuss things we have to deal with in the future.

Reading you guys we have so many good ideas like, how many times since the first time we logged in we said “fixed skill values will never work out”. “con builds are a lot stronger than dps oriented because we do basically the same amount of damage”. “something is really off, if we don’t stack the hell out of nuaelle cards and cloth set we are one shotted by 280+ magic mobs”.

Quick cast attribute magic damage return ingame?

throw gu pot is glitched currently, doing 380 damage no matter what
