kTOS General Thread v2.0

“Quick Cast: Magic Damage” this attribute has already been deleted after patch. Now Quick Cast does not give 50% bonus anymore.

They need to nerf linker to 200% cap again, otherwise there’s no point in even trying to balance this game.

Everything that is not resistant to Joint Penalty will be solved by JP + Dex turbo attack speed dagger wizard, lul

Really sure? It’s still on the wiki from test. Confirmed in game and confirmed isn’t a bug tho?

@tomgo32000 remember a LOT of attributes are missing, even essential ones like riding for SR/Cataphract, so might just be a bug.

Spear throw is a true multi hit wich means each hit crit is calculated individually, if the monster would die from the first hit it would only get hit by that. unlike fake multi hits wich would had done the 3 hits in a row regardless.

The attribute is still on tosneet, but ingame now you can no longer learn “Quick Cast: Magic Damage” attribute.

Since the big patch, there had been a bug where some basic attributes disappeared, such as “Use Two-Handed Swords” and “Companion Riding”. However, after the hot fix two days ago, many attributes were restored and are normal now, but Quick Cast attribute still did not come back. So I presume it is intended.

I wish there was a quarrelshooting musketeer vid out there in testing.

Also ASPD is affected by gear mostly from now on, right? So that means we just have to find out what the top tier ASPD gear is?

lvl 15 increase magic defense (pardoner skill) increases magic defense by 260+45%, basically a second aspersion lol…

beginging the test on SPR + zombies

base SPR = 6-17 damage per zombie.
169 SPR invested = 23~39 per zombie… wich is ■■■■… unsure if they scale of something else

Kaballist’s with Ein Sof mana attribute will be the new Scholar from RO

New meltis, i think still going to be useful for ET.

regfular zombies seem to scale like… really bad with SPR, no idea if the bigger zombie would scale better

zombie train scales decent tho, since now is a % * zombie hit over 10 seconds, if you get a big amount of zombies and circle around mobs should be decent aoe

Unless they changed it at some point, the power of zombies is also determined by what level enemies you zombify.

If I remember correctly they scaled with STR, no? Pretty frustrating if Bokor were left out the whole “SPR Summon” change thingy tho.
Also I’m still waiting for some good Necro SPR demonstration, have you seen any? Or could maybe deliver some?

Did IMC rework any of Pyro useless attributes? (aka most of them)

Saw that they are the same at tos-ktest.neet, but i am just hoping it is different ingame for some random reason…

that could explain a lot, was zombifying really weak monsters, let me check with higher ones

zombies made out of cockatrice hit 300~500 to cockatrice, will take them back to kepas to see the real diference with the other zombies

each zombie hitting for 1100~1300 now on kepas… damn i will need to kill them and summon new ones once i reset stats to see the difference in SPR now

edit 3: zombies made out of cokcatrice deal 160~300 to cockatrice (defense scaling so high with low numbers) going to kepas to see the difference

Actual build choices? Please fix this IMC.

OK THIS MIGHT BE INTERESTING…

seems SPR gives a % increase in the monster attack instead of a flat one.

kepa made zombies went from 6-17 to 23-39
cockatrice made zombies went from 500-700 to 1000-1300
with 169 SPR spent, maybe around 0.5% to 0.7% more attack per SPR point.

Edit: reseted my bokor to paladin cuz i wanted to test it, no more SPR stuff on bokor for now

hp/sp potion performance increased
Skill Factor, Sp Consumption changes.

somethign about testing gear to make stuff easier on the players
some monster stats have been lowered
two new hp/sp potions added to npc
hp/sp potions of alchemist are on a separate cooldown than shop potions

cant understand much else of google trans

I do like this: “When the squire exclusive equipment is squeegeeed…”

EDIT for content and avoiding double post: The fact that they’re doubling down on potion efficacy probably means it’d be hard to fight the SP changes.

SP changes could be cool if it means it imposes tradeoff between statting to spam skills or statting to deal damage. Also if it means that you have to be more prudent with skill use instead of dropping them immediately out of CD.

Does anyone know how Sadhu’s OOB damage is handled after the changes?

I’ll take a look for you.
