Oblique shot gonna be awsome

yeah the odd thing is Oblique 15 > Split shot lvl5, that 2 bounce is arguable tho but you can be flexible now as a spammer. You don’t necessary need to go to scout3.

oblique15 is archer3 thou. I really want to install ktest tos client and test it myself about this oblique shot vs split arrow. @fitzfeliz2 can you teach us how to install it?

double bounce means total damge per shot is 945% while oblique is 754%, for actual aoe purpose split shot > oblique, for single target dps? just go fletcher and enjoy barbed arrow spam, 612%~1836% each shot.

also tried wugushi, even tho i hit 800 only per tick with throw gu pot, it still ticks 18 times wich makes it stronger than my other aoes in must cases, just not as bursty.

haven’t recomputed but I believe lvl10 oblique is almost on par with split shot from skillfactor.

Twin arrow is the archer 3 skill, I think you’re confusing it with the scout 3 skill.

Scout 3 skill still has more dps if it bounces to 2 targets :slight_smile:

yeah but still better than taking the whole scout3 path right? You can be flexible now with say A2orA3 + Fletch3…more combination awaits w/o the need to go scout3. I loved scout3/split shot eversince I created one , the feels will be the same then with A2/A3 via this change.

nope that’s a lvl15 oblique shot vs lvl5 slit shot… thus an A3 for comparison
:slight_smile: I don’t really mind losing a bounce if the dmg is close since I can get different higher rank class aside from scout3 right?

would rather go ranger 3, get more aoe with bounce shot and barrage + 20% more damage from steady aim wich also gives 150 bonus damage at 15 as base. also freaking spiral arrow is a beast scaling wise.

Really? Wow that’s good news too :smiley: Have you tried using oblique / split shot with high dex? recent post from IMC says “all skills” are not affected by DEX aspd lul.

i have freaking 600 ping, wont try any aspd builds lol

From 754% with oblique to 945% with split arrow is quite a difference, i’d say. Almost 200% more damage and that’s a lot.

Flare shot lvl 15 has 401% damage per hit, which sounds pretty good too considering you just drop it on the floor and spam something else :slight_smile:

Got that! So many factors really to consider then. I just want to have the ol’ archer AA(or 0 cd skills) spammer crit type lul. Thinking about mixing Archer circle + Qs + Rouge @_@ I’m so excited with the changes.

Looks like DEX affects attack speed for 0 cooldown skills, so if you want to build a spammer archer you’d probably go with high DEX :slight_smile:

I really like that they seem to be adding accuracy and crit to these weapons for fencer, especially since dex is seeking more and more like it’s strictly auto attack speed and used as a bonus for crit damage to balance out strength damage/accuracy where you wanna balance the two depending on your effective critical rate. This goes doubly so for fencers since the epee guard seems to be the only way the new skill dmagage scales well, and should be a multiplicative scale which makes it very reminiscent of double dagger assassins stacking multipliers.

Edit: On further inspection both flanconadde and compossee both scale by a factor of 17 and 17.7 respectively per skill level, which means that flanconadde will get a base 255% at level 15 and composee will get 177% which should then be effectively tripled on a crit from epee guard instead of the usual 1.5x multiplier. Fencer will be kinda nuts with those kind of multiplicative multipliers. Especially since that’s without the attribute, pierce and the pierce/slash reduction modifiers.

“Not apply to all skills” does not mean “not apply to any skill”.
It means “it applies to some skills, but not every skill”.
