kTOS General Thread v2.0

Hello Saviors, here is what is due to come on the 01/12/2016 Maintenance.

Please be reminded, the contents is always subject to change so please check the released patch notes on the day it takes place.

  1. You will no longer be able to remove shards from stage 1 transcendence equipment. (Now extractable from Stage 2 and onwards)

  2. Item Transcendence will be added to the blacksmith NPC in Fedimian.

  3. The market will be able to determine a price based upon the levels of Cards & Gems.

  4. In-game bugs and balancing will be applied.

  5. New Subquests will be added.

  6. Small additions to story.

  7. When you have been succesfully matched for a party, a sound notification will play to indicate the successful match.

  8. Item Drop Effect toggle (on/off) function will be added.

  9. An NPC Search function has been added to the World Map (N-Key)

  10. The hair accessory slot for ‘Slide-off Glasses’ will be changed.

I don’t know if you noticed but IMC is a little slow when it comes to learning. They might eventually get things right but it will take a long time.

@Gwenyth If I may, any news regarding about the multi threading? It feels like kToS was a lot smoother than iToS but that is just a feeling.

I haven’t seen any news about it recently, sorry.

I don’t know if it’s just myself, but my kTOS and iTOS look different with all the options on, i don’t know why. I can only guess i may have modified the settings at one point but can’t recall the time i did it.

Seems like we have warm tint, kr seems to be blue-ish.

It’s a change back from October 13, where some background elements in Fedimian were improved, so it looks more sunny and aquamarine.

There’s also another change from last patch (which wasn’t mentioned on the notes), where some kind of soft-focus effect was applied, so the in-game graphics now look a little bit hazy.

There is shiet tons of flying looks like meme is not as effectively as SR here…

Why can’t they just get three Diev 3 in their party for continuous ausrine? Invincibility with 100% uptime, you might kill slower but eventually you’ll win

1 krivis and 1 diev is enough actually. they are running 2 chrono 1 linker/1 cryo 2 misshole to cover. with Priest Stone skin + austrine for doppel

Well they make it this far give them a cookie for it

It’s a joke how you can cheese in both PVP and PVE with Ausrine in this game…
The fact that you can continuously apply ausrine with no downtime makes any effort at PVE design redundant because it’s practically god mode

Meme really is underwhelming this time round, I took a look at f16 dps check 3/4 of the mobs are flying.

It means Meme really is pretty much sit out round this time…

The only issue with austrine is i believe some things still knockback ya? Not a huge issue

Wouldn’t you say the same about Priests?

  • Being able to resurrect any amount of times on PvE.

Also:

You are not looking at ausrine negative points:

  • Carving its easy to get interrupted.
  • You need to walk around an area while stepping on 3 circles BEFORE receiving the inmunity. Which usually leaves you open to knockdowns and tends to group the team which many times can end up on your whole team dying to an AoE.
  • Limited charges. If used with DM its usually gonna be enough for a 5-man party + 1 extra.

And in opposition, without Ausrine, you have to spend your time avoiding hits or you spend your time being knocked intead.

Priest’s rez is nowhere comparable to ausrine.
You can get rezzed and die instantly again, not to mention rez has cooldowns.

Those ausrine points aren’t that hard to overcome to be honest.
You get like 16 secs of immunity, even if you take 8 secs out of a diev’s time to prepare for the next carve, the rest of the people still have plenty of time to hit the boss.
For the rest of the party, running around to get the buff takes like 5 secs max.
Limited charges can be overcome by either using meltsis or stacking Dievs or use Chrono’s Pass
The amount of time setting up Ausrine is totally worth the investment and fighting with Ausrine is always better than trying to fight without, even if you have to spend time setting it up.
