kTOS General Thread (keep all in-game discussion here)

Snipe are actually OP once you don’t need combo with Scout’s cloacking attribute or Steady Aim to one shot someone, but we really need damage reduction against humans, and the improvement of stats.Lvl 200 Monsters have 40~50k HP, but even a Swordie with 120~150 dex can’t get this.

Once you need to kill monsters with 2x more life than swordies, without some % damage reduction against humans is hard to balance some skill for PvP without ■■■■ it on PvE.

This stats system needs a goood review, then keep balancing skills.

lol this Ranged Asura Godlike skill need a nerf in damage, not just make difficult its use.

Actually.

You need a QS to counter it or any block, revive etc.
Pavise coutners ranged shots, that’S why she but these two up.

And 25k dps … i laugh at that.
A fletcher can shot you death too, if you got leather or cloth armor.
One hit barbed arrow… (they have around 6 to 9k hp at that level. Barbed can dish out 3k base2 hits1,5 crit*attribute dps easily… against leather types. 3 hits against cloth.)

And the cd is actually low. Yes, she can kill these rcher skillfully. But what about other classes… And they’re combo only won, cause of the cleric buffs and pavise blocks .

There’S a bunch of skills to counter it…

It’s called paperweights, what the two enemy archers died.

He had an cleirc to buff him + pavise to counter archer ranged attacks.

And Snipe isn’t even the most hurtfull skill… when you got 8k hp, nearly anything can kill you instantly if it got multipliers at it.

defense is good against multihit skills… bad against one big chunk of hurt…

Yea, it need more adjustment, but atm there has some kind of damage reduction in pvp battle already also some equipment that has status bonus doesn’t work in pvp battle as well ex: status bonus from item like max petamion.

@greenfoxy21
Yes there are a lot of way to counter this need to find it out also need some luck as well since player can not join in pvp battle as a premade party atm.

It’s funny how people try to argue against nerfing a skill that literally 1 shots you from a distance with no cast time and has the cooldown of a regular skill(25seconds) and you don’t even need to be precise with it lol look at 0:33 and run at 0.25x speed. That was ridiculous

Dude, what’s the problem with those Korean? D;

They asked a lot of things that the community already know, and there are a lot of questions that we want answers that they ignored @_@

What a waste :frowning:

Lol, if that is true about Petamion, someone should bring a guide (@vyne_ probably) about the mechanics for PvP. Waste 5.000.000 in a item that have any use in PvP is very sad lol

If you want I can ask my friend for his test about any item work in pvp battle.

Could be good, also probably it should be posted in this topic for make easier to update his guide

BAM! Thank you. Just because a skill is stupid strong does not mean it doesn’t have easy counters.

OP or not OP I don’t care. What I don’t like is a one-hit game. I’m not playing FPS. I’m not playing MOBA. I want an enduring, intense, battle. Even if I picked Musketeer, I would condemn such thing.

And this:

True indeed, this is an undisputable fact. Those who argue can only ridicule even themselves. Refrain from such thing.

If you have intention to cap PvP to level 200, please have attention on this matter. Thank you.

Any swordie that takes peltasta can easily counter it. Even better if they have evasion. They will also have nightmare fighting against Cataphract or Chronomancer with Haste-Stop. Cleric with Safety Zone, Mackangdal, Revive, Stone Skin, Golden Bell can also counter it. Kabbalist can reflect the damage with 7 times damage to kill the Musketeer. Cryomancer can also easily reflect the damage back with Subzero shield and 1 shotted the Musketeer instead. LOL

The video only showed us how Musketeer can easily 1 shot ppl if they deal crit damage, especially against fellow archer and against wizard that doesnt have much HP and critical resistance. And the reason why musketeer doesnt need that much accuracy while aiming is probably he has pretty high AoE ratio. That musketeer knows his stuff and he has successfully unlocked musketeer’s potential to the fullest.

And basically, if you don’t want to get one shotted, simply start to raise your CON for more HP and critical resistance, or put some HP gems, or wear gears with high bonus HP. Most people are too focused on offensive stats build that they ignore their survivability completely…and they got punished by Musketeer or Cannoneer. And now they blame the classes, not inspecting their own builds. o_oa

Yea man! Sure thing! Lemme go full CON on my archer/Cleric/Wizard and expect it to work super nice and still get one shot because 24K damage

Well… you CAN go Full CON on a wizard so… It’ll work :slightly_smiling:

Even with 100 CON and equips probably I wont go much higher than 25k with my monk lol

Matter of fact, it is not about whether there are skills which can counter it. Why?

Because it can still 1-hit most people. Why?

Because in PvP, items are standardised and you cannot get gems (?), gears with high bonus HP (?), as well as max CON without sacrificing other stats (which is important against OTHER classes). Why?

Because in PvP, our enemies will not only be Musketeers, we also need other skills and measurements to counter other classes. But it still does not seem fair in the case of Musketeer. Why?

Because the requirement of doing Musketeer’s skill is not so punishing while we have to sacrifice so much to counter it. However…even though the skill had much longer CD, or much more difficulty in being able to hit, I wouldn’t like it still. Why?

Because, in the very end and from the very first beginning, it contains a possibility to one-hit something…and 1-hitting something is not so RPG.
