No worries, I understand. :relaxed:
All I want to point out is they who want to play Wizard as DPS shouldn’t have anything to worry about. Because they keep comparing themselves with Archer (not specifically QS). That’s why I said “Wizard vs Archer drama”.

I personally can’t say much about QS because I haven’t experienced it firsthand myself.

Disclaimer: I’m a Wiz player and have no problems with Running Shot, on the contrary, I think that’s the love QS deserved after being a trashy class for so long.

I think the main problem is from def and mdef. If both def and mdef give significant effect in battle, there is no need for archer and wiz to compete for dps roles.

The real trashy one is psy but we barely receive any love from IMC :joy:

btw, this drama happen because dps wiz x archer has a lot more common: squishy - ranged and glass cannon. Ofc, the wiz’d feel frustrating when their physical counterpart turn to super awesome gatling machine :joy:

A player located at KR and a player located at US both connect to ktos.

Both players shows 300ping.

So can you tell me, which of the two player is more likely experiencing high % of package loss?

Which of the two player is more likely to encounter performing an attack but server not registering the damage?

Do you know that Psy got buffed?

  • Psychic Pressure Cooldown Reduced from 30s to 25s, Damage has been increased from 130.8 + 39.36 per skill level to 160.8 + 52.36 per skill level, SP Consumption is also reduced Psychic Pressure sp cost changed from (variable) to 1% per second.
  • Telekineses Cooldown Reduced from 40s to 30s, Skill Damage has also been increased from 172.08 + 47.04 per skill level to 160.8 + 57.04 per skill level.
  • Magnetic Force Cooldown Reduced from 40s to 25s, Skill Damage has also been increased from 303.48 + 77.16 per skill level to 433.48 + 107.16 per skill level.
  • Gravity Pole Cooldown Reduced from 45s to 30s, Damage has now been added to the skill ( 452.01 + 121 per skill level ), SP Consumption is also reduced.
  • Raise Cooldown Reduced from 60s to 50s.

EDIT: They got the love they need has anyone tried the new gravity pole and PP? Just saw a friend of mine using yesterday and its really good. U can see now a lot of Kr and a lot of people going wiz2 (surespell) and kino 3 and just destroy pve and pvp. I knew the buffs were good but seeing my friend playing the actual thing just takes to another level ( Note to you guys who like theorycrafting, sometimes things on paper looks good and it’s not and sometimes things looks okay when in reality it’s AWESOME)

At least you can boast yourself about pvp, and don’t forget criokinos are boss killers with that pp+ icewall combo.

But wiz have lots of love bro, take it for yourself cryomancer also another of the trashy classes back then, now they’re masters of cc and awesome to be in party and pvp. Take for Sorcerers ( Like I am, man I can tank and do insane amounts of DPS with my templeshooter and can also link my enemies to make a super aoe damage plus I can mount my summon and invoke his three skills from hell that blasts the entire screen. Let’s not forget my multihit summon familiar skill that summons suicidal bats from the depths of the underworld to blast the screen one more time)

Do you really think that I care about QS’s only good dps skill dmg being Running Shot?

If a player located at KR have the same ping of a US player, something is wrong :joy:
Like i said, there’s a lot of factors… Most likely US player (connected to Ktos) will experience more problems. The KR problem might be just route(it’s what tunneling services try to fix). But let’s get back to topic :v:.

Scout’s split arrow anybody?

When QS’ running shot triples the base damage, split arrow with full attribute can x3x2 the damage x 2 people (+ the skill damage + the damage to the primary target) bla bla bla

But of course it’s not just the matter of number. Running shot works entirely differently with split arrow; both can outadvantage each other in the term of situation given. That’s the beauty of TOS. It’s not all about numbers.

Now you take ranger’s steady aim plus scout’s split arrow? sounds delicious huh?

In all honesty, before tis rework, Steady Aim wasnt even necessary.

And just to add something to the whole Running Shot and ping thing.

Just ran another dungeon and despite not being there when they initated the boss fight I still grabbed aggro using running shot and I have 700 ping atm.

Shots are fired seemingly pretty quick to me, probably is a delay but hardly enough to make QS3 a bad choice even at 700 ping.

I know the solution. Just give us an attribute that gives current Ping*10 atk :sunglasses::laughing:

Do Plague Docs and Oracles cancel out poisons?

Wugushi deals some serious poison damage. Just dueled a C1 wugushi, won the duel with still 4-5k HP left but the poison killed me afterwards since I was no longer protected by the duel effect (something else needing fixing hehe).

Isa + icewall looks pretty deadly.
