Can steady aim be shared via spiritual link?

It could, as far I remember. Not related to ur question, but Rogues Evasion too (in case anyone is curious about).

I agree with both of you but im also one of the people that thinks we should have diminishing returns on cc.

Likely, although it still only works on missile skills, so only useful for other archers if so.

@elfochka I’m playing the game now and wizard life is still pretty good. I’m sure more buffs are coming as they go up the class trees as well. Wizard has tons of good CC, moving mobs are not really a problem. If your build doesn’t have any, than party a peltasta who can group things. Also archer tree is purely dps, while wizard also has good support. I don’t understand what’s bad about wizards having good support potential in addition to good dps as a class tree, versus archers being pure dps and being good at it. It doesn’t mean wizards are forced into pure support roles.

That’s why we said mage being forced to support/cc routes, there are no point to go dps anymore - which are majority of mage classes: wiz, pyro, ele, sorcerer, necro, warlock - they have nothing but dps.

I made a cryo kino, going cryo3 kino3. The damage is pretty nice, as always. The SP consumption is a joke now, with 1% you never have to worry about it. The uptime on damage is really nice as well, 15 secs of channeling with 25 sec cooldown.

I am probably going 50 con and rest int, but might do more con.

When I party with pyros, it’s a ton of fun having them plop their fireballs next to my icewall and pping both ( it stops the fireballs from moving, and the fireballs don’t damage the icewall ). It does some really nice damage, especially if they are pyro2 and have fireball 10.

And yeas as fitzfeliz said getting into parties isn’t a problem with the matchmaking, everyone uses it because the bonus is so good, so it doesn’t matter what class you are. But, I’ve never had a problem getting into parties as a wizard before. ( I only made a linker once way back in ktest and didn’t party anyone )

@tosmage There’s plenty of reason to play wizard dps. Physical def vs magic def is one reason alone. Wizard dps isn’t bad either, I have yet to see an argument stating how wizard can’t dps, just complaining that other classes are good at dpsing. Having a dps wizard in your instance party is a joy and makes things go faster, having a dps wizard in your party at a world boss fight ensures that you will get a cube. The same hasn’t been true for me with swordsmen and archers, though now it should be more true with archers that have certain builds.

People aren’t actually playing the game and evaluating their opinion off of that, just looking at buffs on paper and assuming that it makes one class OP while hurting wizards somehow.

Yeah, has to be solo. It actually kicks you out of the party when you do it. However, it’s not hard to have your party member also do matchmaking at the exact same time, almost ensuring you’ll end up in the same group.

i dislike that its almost discouraging having friends.

Right now that does look like the direction the game is going. You do quests ( which are easy to do solo ) and then get to the instance run part of the game, where you just run instances until the next instance bracket, and the best exp is gained from just going in solo and being matched up.

I’d love to see some viable grind maps / grind exp as an alternative to quests/instances, far better for friends/community.

Im starting to think that almost all people in this threat only do wizard, archer or swordman, because i dont see ANY complening about clerics at all.
Blessing and Sacrament dont scale and they start to be almost useless at high levels.
Almost all cleric tree is INT based, so the monks build are not that good right now. Also, monks are missing ranged attacks very badly.
Can go around some limitations like skill cap (making a pardoner to create daino scrolls) and high cooldowns for Priest C3 skills , but cmon if rank 8 cleric classes or hidden are not physical, physical clerics are gone for sure. Actually I think they already gone after rank 7 made pretty good INT based classes…

Because we have entire separate topics about Cleric and they haven’t been worked on all that much on KToS compared to the rest, making it sorta pointless in comparision.

Um Monk, monks punch things. They shouldn’t have a lot of ranged skills.
