And even then for a Monk that wants it they do have two skills, Energy Wave (which got buffed recently iirc) and the coin toss thingy.
You could argue that they aren’t great, but they are not the focus anyways but they are nice options regardless.

thanks :3

now am more confident about my build and what to do

Because any cleric -> anything with any stat build is a welcome addition to any party because heals.

Blessing still adds up and is useful with multihit. It will eventually fall of in usefulness, but is very useful for a long time. Sacrament will always be useful - it adds another attack, and adds damage onto every attack that you already have. Adding another attack is very valuable. I’ve had a ton of fun playing str/dex clerics, ( paladin, monk, chaplain ) and still being able to get into a party as a needed member while having a strong solo dps game is nice. Monks are less popular now because of Chaplain. Nothing wrong with Chaplain -> Monk though, skip double punch ( and don’t be restricted by [Strike] damage on your main skill ).

I don’t like playing int clerics much, but they are still very good and people like playing them. I dunno, clerics are in a good place, there’s not much to complain about. Most lower ranks can be taken at any rank, and it’s not a bad choice. It’s like wizard.

Except Dievdirbys. I think they still need help ( although they are doing quite well in PvP now ).

I find it mostly impossible to complain about cleric when most of the class of the branch gives the middle finger to the “role” philosophy of the game and are pretty much decent dps and support no matter what you do. And they are the only ones with good party healing abilties. There’s a few classes that seems in need of help like paladin or monks i feel but it’s really not bad at all.
Archer are kinda starting to follow the same path with classes like QS becoming dps gods.

which shouldn’t be a issue once we have the international server, the majority of players on it should have fine pings. But yea iv seen low ping vids on the korean server and it is not impressive with high ping lol.

A lot of people played with 100-300 ping because reasons in the international servers, it’s important to note of them for people that want to do it but it ends so they don’t have the conection to do so.
As mentioned by fitzfeliz you need really low ping for it to be amazing.

I play cleric and there is almost nothing to complain

Monk is not the best melee dps, but it has some decent damage, and it’s in a support tree, so we can’t really complain about that

And every other class has it’s role, so they do what they’re supposed to do

The only class that really needs some buff is Paladins on the Offensive matter, they’re kinda messed up, having magic resitance debuffs but their damage spells are melee (just ignore turn undead, just ignore it)

Had to remake my Psykino because I wanted to play with Surespell.
Absolutely not worth, Wiz C2 worst rank in the game.

Oh and Psykino is the most interruptible dps you ever seen. three attacks that root him for a very long time, 1 of which is single target.
Love the class but it can be very frustrating.

Dog rush might be that, it definitely is not critical hitting and it still absolutely wrecks structures. Guess I’ll go to a higher level mob zone and see if I can still killmobs 60 higher level then me.

Its not for the exp.
Its precisely to recall if its still going through defense ezpz.

Back in ICBT2, used to have the hunter well…hunt for items since rush dog and auto rushdog ignored defense so I was farming items out of my level bracket when I was bored.

Before this, Rushdog formula goes like this:

([Companion attack - Enemy’s def/reduction] x 2) + Skill damage of Rushdog

So the only part that ignores defense is the skill damage part.

From the video above, I don’t think that the formula is being changed. Except for the part that now it is multiplied by 2.5 instead of 2. If you see the skill damage at the beginning of the vid (1435), you can add all that chain of damage and get the total number around what is being used in the formula.

It is just that the whole damage is being divided into several instances… And I don’t understand what’s the purpose of doing that. Perhaps it is to differ manual rushdog and companion’s auto special attack (applicable for every classes) which people always mistake it as “auto rushdog” when it does not give you stun effect like the true Hunter’s Rushdog does.

Coursing and Retrieve stack. LMFAO.
If this worked on bosses you’d melt them so fast Q_Q.

Although Snatching still works on bosses and the bleed is directly equivalent to the damage dealt so it does good damage while boosting up your striking damage. coursing and retrieve are also striking damage
So you could on an elite flying mob…snatch it, retrieve and coursing. It’ll be unable to do anything due to retrieve, take 2x damage from Retrieve and coursing, +50% if it’s also weak to strike and suffering snatchings bleed Coursing reduces defense as well as Retrieves attribute

. You can also rushdog during this IIRC correctly so hello convoluted single-target monstrosity against elites. Unfortunately non-bosses aren’t really meant to survive this…and if they had any notable HP, you’d use growling and shut them all down anyways.

Hunter IMO excusing the AI hiccups (which certainly should be addressed) is very strong at single-target and lack luster against bosses unless they’re flying types. Only thing you really bring to bosses if they’re grounded is Rush Dog and Pointing as a defensive boost to the party.

Man, any chance to try whether Retrieve/Coursing/Snatching can be resisted by player? Like by Plague Doctor or by a player with high SPR?

Thats something interesting to test.

Especially since Psychokino can give players flying status with Raise.

The mechanics guide says however if I’m reading correctly that everything but Houndings Scan mechanic is a rank 1 status and should be cleansable.

Regret doing the Arch 2, Hunter-c3 route atm. In ICBT2 I went ranger > hunter c3.

Single-target is beyond covered with this patch. Multi-shot isn’t really that valuable. Level 5 Steady aim + 3x Barrage would carry more weight.
Live and learn.

Thing is: “auto rush dog” that you refer to as “companion’s auto special attack” scaled on damage with “Rush dog” skill on hunter, hence the name (and for non-hunters its damage was equal to rush dog level 0). While stun attribute was not applied during that attack which is probably bug in itself, but then having pet 60% chance to stun every now and then automagically is a bit too strong.

I’ve always wanted to play a hunter and now with these buffs nothing is holding me back so I’m going to give it a test. Quick question, do you guys think c3 hunter is necessary?
