kTOS General Thread (keep all in-game discussion here)

i hear they are making the after-cast delay reduced for cannoneers :open_mouth:

I have no idea what that image means, but i liked it

Any kind of consumable isnt allowed to use inside the Arena. However, in the next patch, it seems theyre going to allow potions.

EDIT: I stand corrected. @LunarRabbit broke all my dreams. ;_;

Yes! I was trying to understand the Wugushi lines too :c

Btw, if ā€œSKILL_20150317_000913 [Manticen Card] Physical Non-Property Magicā€ from https://github.com/Treeofsavior/EnglishTranslation/blob/e6646cfa808cd88f5a837a087909d40b871310cf/SKILL.tsv is some wugushi-related thing I would like to test some INT/MATK equipment to check if the boss skill from Gu Pot damage increases but I don’t know if it makes any sense, lol.

it is but dont forget that you have 4 randoms in your party and pugs are known for being inadequate, disorganized, underskilled etc.

Potions were allowed. I even used some xD

EDIT: @Gunnr I didn’t want to break your dreams. ;_;

It possible means theyre proofreading translated text AND theyre working on Steam TS (Teste Server?).

well i’m doing 190 induns, there isnt much people so i could gather my friends to Q match making at the same time to enjoy the bonus exp and be organized. Seems like a good way :grin:

OMG I was just going to reply back but @LunarRabbit got to you first and then you edit your post LMAO.
But I wonder can we use scrolls

-Dispeller Scrolls
-Pardoner Skill Scrolls

I wish I could do this before I did 20 runs of dun190 and catacombs in a single day ;-;

@Loztchild A friend told me that people were using Dispeller in the arena but I didn’t see nor test it by myself.

Great idea! PVP costumes would really be a great way to keep ppl interested in pvp

Ive been watching a lot of matches these days, but never saw ppl using pots (none going on CD), so I was under the impressions they werent allowed. :confused:

@Loztchild Ya, hes like that. :expressionless:

;-; ;-; ;-; was just trying to help

not sure if this is correct, but from what i’m reading in the translated patch… automatch making would be the best way to gain experience via dungeon or mission.

without matchmaking

party of 5 (unique criteria met): 350% + 50% = 400% divide by 5 = 80% each

party of 4 (unique criteria met): ā€œā€ = 82.5% each

automatch making = 600% divide by 5 = 120% each

if true above (not counting token, exp book etc…), automatch would be the way to go.

I think IMC is trying to discourage preform party (same 5 ppl everyday), and encourage automatch which no one uses at the moment.

But there’s something to think about. Let’s say you want to do 3 runs straight with a Exp Book and some random player that can’t buy SP potions at Lv.130+ stops with a campfire and/or the healer quits the party after one run. Or koreans even kick you from their party for talking in english while inside the dungeon.

These things happens (at least it didn’t with me) but a friend took almost 1 hour inside Lv.130 dungeon because of people doing this. And I saw some ā€œI don’t want english-speakers in my partyā€ things too ;-;

I’d say that it’ll make people ā€œcheatā€ the matchmaking by trying to enter the dungeons when there aren’t too many players there: [quote=ā€œkyotian, post:2541, topic:125464ā€]

xD

From my experience with automatch, i’ve come across situation with ppl AFK, or D/C (still able to finish) etc… but its not a common occurrence. Majority of party I’ve come across are ok.

As far as kicking me from party it never happen to me even after I speak English in team chat (hope I don’t jinx it).

I don’t use EXP book in automatch, people usually leave the party after the run is finish. However, if you think about it… 80% vs 120% is essentially an exp book buff.

I asked couple of the koreans if they dislike foreigners playing on kToS. The most common response was ā€œPartly yes, because they steal and not manneredā€ ā€œOnly few nice foreignersā€ some quotes.

No, it’s not for that.

the korean player i’v played with usually say ā€œgood jobā€ :wink: when we’re done with dungeon runs. key is ā€œbuilding a reputation and have a name recognizableā€.

besides that support class will definitely get your foot in the door… especially healer since half of the server running rampant with sword class.
