Ktos Balance Patch

Biggest change imo:
Blessing scale with Spr, Int and Skill Level
Going for +400+

Additional bonus damage Calculation is:
( 0,06 * Spr + 0.02 * Int ) * ( Skill Lv -1 )

Anyone with full INT or full SPR or 50-50 would really be happy like me now

I saw the equation somewhere and it scales both with int and spr, favoring SPR at 0.06% vs int 0.04%

Doesn’t favor SPR so much cause after rank 5 INT will get a 50%+ boost…

Still, it’s a nice update.

int has scaling with ranks so at 7th rank or higher INT character will get more than spr

Also that scaling is wrong. It should be 6% (or 4%) or simply 0.06 or 0.04 or else it doesnt make sense

+12 damage at 200 SPR or 300 INT? Meh…

Well, not just that but the rest of the update!

8 - Some item (Potion, Potion Small, Large Potion) the spacing of tooltip typo corrected.

That’s everything we needed.

Updated Topic with calculation and link to changes discussion outside Clerics

RIP my full dex pardoner, but spell shop might work differently so idk

Blessing
The duration will change 45 seconds → 60 seconds.
The additional damage is increased according to the INT and SPR status.

Bwa Kayiman
Additional damage is applied as an average value of power stats summoned zombies.

That’s actually pretty nice.

Revive
The duration will change 90 seconds → 30 seconds.

R.I.P. Revive.

Carve Owl
The duration is changed to 15 minutes.

Wut… Is this translation correct?

Will that be applied everywhere or only guild battles?
EDIT: Nvm just answered my own question reading the other topic.

According to Doddler it’s actually:
(0.06 * SPR + INT * 0.02) * (skillLevel - 1)

Just read full patchnotes:
Blessing scale is per skill level

which means that you will get 84% of your SPR and 28% of your INT added to blessing bonus at Lv15. So they want priests to go CON/SPR route without alternatives.

Rip Lv3-5 builds, all hail full spr blessing bots that will now bot even faster.

i noticed. But i was replying to original post that had nonsensical mistake.

Well I wouldn’t say CON/SPR is the only way to go now. You’ll still get a considerable bonus from INT (with the 10% job ranks bonus included) and still able to dish out more DPS due to other INT based skills like cure/carnivory/merkabah.

SPR builds get a nice boost but imo that’s kinda necessary. Right now building SPR is mostly for stone skin alone.

Try to build an AA chaplain with this change in mind…

11-15 Aspersio (for Aspergillium), 10 Sacrament (for Last Rites scaling), 15 Blessing and you are left with 5-9 points on everything else (mass heal, stone skin and revive/ressu). Granted that you can take stone skin Lv1 only if you have high SPR. You get Monstrance from capella so its skipable.

SPR chaplain?

Well you obviously can’t have everything. You need to pick if you want the survivability skills (stone skin / revival / ressurection) or the DPS skills (aspersion, blessing, sacrament).

84% SPR and 28% INT scaling at level 15.
If you grab 100 Con and Rest in SPR your Blessing will give 415 dmg @ 280.
Which certainly isn’t bad for something like Frost Cloud (31 hits) That’s an Extra 12k dmg per enemy for that skill.

I’d rather 150 Con and rest SPR and my blessing will still add 380-ish damage.

Mh, guess this makes priest 3 not a good choice for monks anymore, since their blessings will be much less useful. Granted, they could just focus on other skills, but still…

I wonder how stat scaling will work with pardoners’ shops. Will it take buyer’s SPR/INT or take a snapshot of sellers? Will there be a way to know stats of a pardoner? Lots of questions - no answers yet.

Blessing (Doyor) gem will actually matter now (for OCD people to have 90% and 30% scaling off their stats).

Guys keep in mind the formula [( 0,06 * Spr + 0.02 * Int ) * ( Skill Lv -1 )] is for the scale (additional) damage. You will buff both new and old formula (+170).

@Delcas @nizidr
Make sure you both add 170 we already have to that
