This fireball suck, to make it good you have to remove the delay and overheat from the skill. And add a passive of maximum stack of fireballs which is the lvl of the skill.

Won’t change the fact they will hit 1 time.
If you wanna go by our standards, a lv15 [fireball] in ktos will be doing 1 hit worth of 4-5 pulses here in itos. Add to this you get the fact that you can get 2x the amount in the cd of our [fireball], that’s 8-10 pulses worth in 1 hit. Multiply that by 3 (2 dupes from sage) and that is 24-30 pulses worth in 1 hit.
Sage can duplicate 1 target 1 time (up to 2 target/cast) not 2 copy/object.
Hp/defense etc everything have been change soo 30k damage now don’t worth 30k damage after. Most mob have been their healt reduce soo 30k after worth more than before.
Pyro haven’t been nerf… Agny is just not that powerfull anymore, but pyro spell are kinda viable whitout it now. Have you ever try a pyro whitout agny right now?
From the video I saw of pyromancer, it seem not that bad honestly. The only thing i’m kinda sad about is probably gona be way harder to duplicate fireball. Yeah you could do it aside and then trow it in fight but … That take some time and not necesery the best position for it to explode.
FINALLY… It on TEST, nothing is fixed right now, everything could change before we get the patch.

My point is it may just be 1 hit, but it has a skill factor of almost 500%. That and the 15 AAR it got too, it’s like they redistributed the total number of hits and made it a better aoe with a lot less hits (if you get what I mean).
They did a pitiful choice, that’s all.
IMC thinks of pyro as a complement for linker.
i prefer it to become range skill if it just 1 hits… at least i dont need to go face 1st to the boss using pyro skills
I’ll be happy if they done that… fire pillar and flame ground can be casted at a safe distance… so why not they put that on a 1 hit fire ball at least it would be useful for me. I don’t know for others… 
in a way like that… lol… hahaha… but prefer it has a casting circle while in hold like fire pilar and flame ground and you can just set it like them from a distance 
or make fireball like ro’s fireball… big ball that can be thrown… 
like a fire version of energy bolt in animation sense… and still the same output as the ktest fireball… that explodes on 1 hit… same % values… and same with burn effect…
if we can’t link it at least let us throw it… 
and when i saw the video for ice blast… if it stay with a decent amount for ice blast… im happy to use it then…
i got both base fir and ice on 2 of my wiz right now… if somehow the builds are good… they would stay at it is… ill just change the skills…

Fire ball works as a trap skill in tos. I like that, but… darm… only one explosion for a 2 overheat skill…

They dont even have 100% chance of burn the target. And all others spells from pyro except Hellbreath are rank1 debuffs.
Which means that you cant land a single skill in a plague doc with bloodletting.

Flare is a new “nuke” but you can only hit someone with flare if they are under fire or burning effects.
Which means: clerics such as oracles and plague doctors are immune to the entire pyromancer class!
Thats why this new fireball is bullcrap! They have killed the class. 
This new fireball should have no overheath at all.

at least if they do this type of fireball… that’s why i said lets just throw the fireball… if it will explode on 1 hit and does burn ona chance level… we still got ignition and agny for back up for now.
also seeing that video of solo pyro on the dungeon… placing a fireball on 1 hit make me realize… pls just let us throw it if its just 1 hit… 
also read the class and dmg rework thread… enchants are good… at least it’s going somewhere for 1 skill… on pyro tree…
and i made a pyro3 chrono3 alch for my alchemist line for it too.

The main problem of this gif fireball is that the skill becomes missile.
And sages are immune to that. 
so we stll go back to face 1st people with a 1 hit “wonder” being sarcastic…
Yeah fireball kinda sucks, why dont they make cryo ice bolt to ice ball.
Can people stop talking about Sage as if it is the same class as Pyro?
“But fireball, when duplicated, does good enough damage” << that’s the point, you need a totally different class, on a totally different rank, to make the skill “decent”.
Other classes are decent enough alone, and have the potential to be OP when combined with other classes that synergize with them.
The new prominence seems to look like 16 fireballs shooting out from you, it seems to have similar damage and burn.
With the buffs they made to Firewall and Pillar (
) and the Enchant Fire formula changes, i don’t think you will ever get enough spare points to make Enchant Fire usefull (you need it level 15 and be full INT/SPR to gain around 430 fire damage only…)
I think Fireball will be ok for PvP now as a zoner. It is just one hit and doesnt burn all the time, but the burn does hurt against players (more than against monsters) and, since last patch, burn DoT was reverted to “white” damage, so it staggers a little again.
It is pretty bad for PvE tho. If you are full PvE and dont have Linker, guess you now got spare points for Enchant Fire since Fireball is worthless in that case.
