Hey @greyhiem, could you maybe explain the use of Kabba3 in belcoper for someone who’s unsure how the class works? Thanks!

I guess it’s Ein Sof 15 and Revenge Sevenfold 15. With Ein Sof you don’t become invulnerable but you get 3x your HP for over a minute, which can be used by 2 players. And r7x is a just a trick that might save you and the party from a HK.

Ktest patch on Pelt and Barb changes along with some skill delay reductions

Cool. Archer & Cleric rework at the horizon already! Here’s a brief summary for this patch:

  • Pelt changes
    All penalties removed from Guardian and High Guard, Guardian’s duration and CD nerfed, but it now grants magic dmg reduction and has a new OP def boost attribute for Pelt3
  • Barb changes
    After 5 Wild Nature stacks, you’ll get a HP regen effect that scales with STR
  • New attribute for Sapper and Wugushi to include your secondary PATK in your skill damage calculation (nice for Sapper/Wugu Cannoneers)
  • Taoist’s Storm Calling will no longer erase fire magic circles
  • Delay after casting reduced for almost all Archer & Cleric skills

Did IMC lost track on rank/circle power and forgot how ineficient is to have short duration buffs with extended time by level?

I always thought Guardian was in a decent spot, i get removing the offensive restriction but why change to double PDef/MDef with shorter cd (at least that what i understand from great o’ Google)? And adding extra 100% PDef in C3, just… why? That change kills High Guard, +33% PDef is already enough for a decent geared char to perform well without block, this will make it pointless to invest over having Guardian 11 (for 100% uptime) and dump points anywhere else for extra damage.

If they want to make Peltasta that more attractive (as if it wasn’t good enough already) why not removing restriction from Swash Buckling and get another weaponless skill for C1 so other builds can take it without wasted points?

Also they should either get rid of Wild Nature or make clear as a base feature, tell properly on skill description how it interacts with barbarian skills, this new effect just makes it more gimmicky.

When I heard there were Barb buffs in this patch, I thought they gave it an attribute to equip 2H maces. That’s everything I want. :cry: Yeah, axes would be cool, but we have enough weapons in the game already.

It’s also weird that they gave Pelt2 an attribute for Guardian that’s pretty much the same thing as Swashbuckling’s. With Guardian lv6+, you can learn an attribute that reduces incoming damage by 20% (Swashbuckling reduces damage by 25% with its attribute) and, with Guardian lv11+ (Pelt3), you can learn an attribute that doubles your defenses. This is probably IMC trying to scream at the players for them to invite a tanker to their party for the Belcoper raid.

That’s a nice buff for Pelt, wow.

I know they’re still a meme, but I think it would be pretty cool to see tanks again. Pelt3-Hop3-Rei2 with cloth armor seems pretty great for a dedicated tank, or maybe Centurion if they ever decided to re-add it back as a r8 blue class one day.

After the nerf to all other cleric skills, full CON kabba3+priest2 became popular meta cleric support for all contents. Players tank hits with ein sof HP pool increase and just heal up after tanking. So far every party for raid included a kabba3+priest2 support. Parties without priest2+kabba3 often failed.


Someone pm me and asked about sadhu pd at raid, here’s a video. Bit of mess up after a while, several members died to boss.

What does the Kabbalist do besides tanking and using the wheels? I dont see it using Gevurah or anything

The same here. I was expecting some ideas of the gameplay and how that build works, but it was almost an Ein Soff/Merkabbah demonstration :~

Can Sorcerer/Necro be a decent dps build for world boss/et/raid? or for mages elem wl is the only choice?

So priest2-kabba3 is really needed for raid huh? Guess I better roll one now then.

I see that Marnox card is purple card that give star*1.5 crit rate.
Is it flat crit rate like sneak hit ?

Yes. It is a true support healer, just ein sof and healing / casting revive buff mainly. Cleric2 - Priest2 - x - oracle - kabba3 is ok. Most don’t bother a lot to cast other skills.

Sorc/necro, summons will die a lot. ET is definitely easy for sorc/necro. Note: necro might not always easily get accepted into party in some steam servers, or so I have heard.

@Naght it is not crit chance like sneak hit, but crit rate.
Legendary Marnox card is similar to sneak hit!

Will try to summarize all-patch info into first post, or at least put a link to posts with (important) patch info.

Sapper and Wugu attributes (swap damage taken from main hand to secondary weapon) were introduced to lessen the burden on dual-weapon builds with sapper/wugu + reiter, bulletmarker, cannoneer, hackapel(?). Especially skillcaster-based wugu or sapper + bulletmarker builds will become quite ok.

Two new barbarian attributes were added to the Wild attribute. Full list (KTOS exclusive):

Two added effects:
Barb2: at 5 stacks of Wild, recover 50 HP every 2 seconds. The Recovery increases based on your CON.
Barb3: at 5 stacks of Wild, recover 100 HP every 2 seconds. The Recovery increases based on your CON.


Taoist Stormcall no longer removes (allied) fire magic.


Pelt is quite ok for tanking. Must try to stack pelt tanker with a priest3 stone skin for % damage taken reduction, and a stone whale card for another 10% damage reduction to become a decent tanker. Though party still gets wiped by AoE skills and pelta will be only one remaining alive.


Peltasta Guardian change:
Physical & Magical defence increase +100% at all skill levels.
Duration changed to 17 + [Skill Level] × 3
Cooldown: 50s
Note: duration of Guardian 11/15 is equal to cooldown.
Note2: guardian was changed to no longer get shared through Linker’s Spiritual Chain.

Attribute to increase evasion by 50 per attribute level, up to 3 levels. (not a new attribute)

New attribute for pelt2 + guardian level 6: reduce damage received by 20% .
