Cryo is still a great PvP class! Freeze is also a bit better to apply at PvP because ice bolt is instant cast now, and ice pike is a large AoE. However I wonder if jumping will still dodge new ice pike AoE (not sure if intended). For PvP, you should consider Rune of Protection instead of Rune of ice.
@GadenRhoss yes, this trick was found long ago on Ktos too. It was mentioned for ‘investigation’ but never heard anything about it. Not sure if it will count as abuse.

Feedback on your build
About runecaster: will you use level 1 giant? It is 30s duration. You cannot cast your skills during giant mode. If you just use it to move faster on map, it is fine to take level 1. For combat, I do not recommend level 1 giant on this build.
Elementalist: I recommend level 14 Electrocute (will hit 10 targets). Level 13 will hit 9 targets. If you have cleric friend for divine might, level 13 electrocute and level 15 are fine too. You could drop some Prominence levels and max electrocute.
Rune caster + elementalist: rune of ice will now boost damage of all ice skills, including Hail. If you like it, you could take hail max + rune of ice combo. KTEST hail is 19s duration at max level (patch note of imc was incorrect).
Wizard: consider taking level 1 Lethargy. Lethargy unlocks attribute to increase Magic-circle damage on debuffed mobs. Elementalist Hail and Dust storm, pyro fire pillar, flame ground, flame wall are magic-circle type skills. I tested it myself, it only increases damage of magic-circle skills. For example, meteor is not affected. Lethargy: strike damage attribute is unlocked at wizard3. Take it to help your teammembers.
Consider a few more levels of surespell. It is a party buff now, so you can help your party members if you take surespell level 2~5. If you will invest a bit on SPR, reflect shield is great to mitigate some damage. It will reduce damage of several hits by 20%. Each time it activates, it will consume 1% of your SP. Amount of hits before shield disappears = equal to skill level. Sleep is a great CC, and earthquake damage is quite nice too. Attribute of earthquake removes knock effect.
Take sleep 1 to combo the sleep attribute (double damage with psychokinesis and neutral magic on sleeping enemies). Combo sleep attribute with rune of destruction (neutral magic).
Support option: more surespell levels, lethargy 1
Defensive (SPR): take reflect shield, sleep
Offensive: earthquake with remove knock attribute, lethargy 1 to combo magic circles, sleep 1 to combo rune of destruction
Utility: magic bolt 1 for knockback, earthquake 1 for knock-up
