Just curious since I haven’t seen any topics about this yet. Are there any rules regarding kill stealing like there were in Ragnarok Online? I just want to make sure that I don’t annoy people or unreasonably get annoyed at people for no reason.

Aside from whether its legal or not isn’t just proper player etiquette not to kill steal others?

I think the game will have a “first hit” rule, whoever hits it first, the loots and exp are theirs. Well, atleast I hope so.
Wouldn’t that make it easy to power level someone? Get low leveled and let them hit a high leveled mob and let your power leveler kill the mob? (Safety Zone makes this easier as well)
Eh it’s usually not cool to KS.
But what’s also annoying is unintentionally attacking a split second after someone else has and having him hound you around the entire map, spamming the chat box with “KSER KSER KSER!!!1111” even though you stopped attacking and might have even said sorry.
Don’t be either one.

I forgot where I read this statement, but IMCGames stated that they couldn’t do anything about kill steal because it is basically a part of the game itself.

Why KS when you can just party with the person you’re trying to KS? … unless you really wanna piss them off in which case I hope there is a report button on in game bullying.
Some people wants easy loots, so yeah, they let the others deplete the HP of the Boss then they KS it. It’s annoying as ■■■■. That’s the cons of an open world. But hey, that’s one of the thrilling things there.

It’s a rule made up by the community thus illegality of Kill Steal. Depends on your situation though, some might KS by mistake and some just do it for the loots. Whatever it was, you could file a report but they may or may not take any action against it since it has always been in any MMO. This is Massive Multiplayer Online game afterall.

KSing isn’t nice, but your totally allowed to do it.
I didn’t mean report button for kill steal. I meant a report button for harassment since this is an open world, it is entirely possible for someone to no life and make your time playing the game miserable. The community so far seems good and helpful but of course there are still some who seem to have a very aggressive personality.
If you let the guy eat the mob he tagged, there is no ks. If he is high level and tagged all map’s porings and you cannot level because of that, you can report and enjoy him being serviced later. It is hindering your gameplay and doesn’t need a special rule for ks.
Have you tried KSing other people in Korean CBT? What about the experience gain? Does the person who KS get all the exp? Or is it going to be shared for the others who also fight the same monster?
Like I said, depends on your situation. If it has come down to harassment rather than just a simple KS, you may report it as usual, nothing to worry about. Usually actions would be taken once it goes that far.

Doesn’t matter since you can’t mob the entire room anyhow. I think that your skills will only hit like… 6-8 or something monsters at once anyhow, so you can’t ever make huge mobs.
My rule of thumb is if it’s red it’s dead. I don’t really care.
When you KS someone, you get your own loot, silver, and EXP. I’m not sure if EXP is split or not, but I’ve gotten a ton of my own separate loot, not shared or would have been shared with anyone else.

U cannot do anything against Ks… If u someone Ks u then Ks him… or make him feel bad by insulting him… lol
I doubt people who kill steal care enough for you to make them feel bad, in fact insulting them will probably make them laugh and target you specifically to further their shenanigans.
