you aren’t forced to do anything in this game, you can solo perfectly fine since questing and boss fights are such linear and mundane activities.
Majority of the people that chose to play a support class already have a lvling partner or groups in mind.
The only thing you are “forced” to do is find a grinding group to grind out the last couple of levels. And that’s if you choose to group instead of soloing.
