Just me, or does it seem like xbows blows 2h bow out of the water too much

Like okay, 2h bow beats xbow in flying because of 100%. That seems to be it.
Like even disregarding the game’s OPness in offhand stats. And not even counting them.

xbow ignores 25% armor on everything.
2h bow has a higher max damage, but the range of its min-max damage is huge. While xbow while having a lower max, the min is a lot closer making its damage more consistent. Like a 2H will be like 220-340 while the xbow be like 260-300, Adding the -25% armor on that, seems like just alone an even xbow would do just as much as its 2h bow counterpart.

Don’t forget that there aren’t many classes who need a 2h bow while a lot of Archer classes work with offhands or Xbows.

Only class that even wants a 2H Bow is Hunter because of the Savage Bow.

there’re a lot of flying monster/boss in this game, maybe not as much as 50%, but I think at least 30-40% (you’d still see a lot of people use maga bow hunt the flying boss instead of grandcross+manamana)

that’s why if you have silver you’ll want both good bow and xbow+sub

against flying target bow is much stronger than xbow + off hand

the 25% ignore defense attribute for xbow is pretty much compensated by the higher attack of 2H-bows

This is true until you recognize your pet overkills anyway, so its xbow + shield and watch stuff diing. ^^
