If we drop gems on death in dungeons, what sort of features will be implemented to prevent gem loss when disconnecting and during a dungeon and dying while trying to log back in?
Maybe not die?
You can expect connection problems to be fixed at release. So this problem should be temporary in our minds.
I have an idea, how about we DON’T drop gems on death? OR, when you die, your “resurrect” option sacrifices one or more gems? Anything that involves NOT dropping items the instant you die will remove the potential unwarranted punishment and force the player to choose sacrifices upon death.
gets super rare gem with the unknown rate
dies 5s later to mob because of IPF error
oh yeah that was totally my fault, right, LoliLicker…?
I don’t even understand the point of dropping Gems on death. What’s the point? Did IMC think that would punish us? The only time it would make me feel mad is when I die and lose a super rare, and I’m not actually stupid enough to spare myself the trouble of putting it in the warehouse the second I get it to prevent what happened in my example.
Store your gems. I thought everyone was doing that already.
