Removing the items is rather something feasible and sure to be doing. But punishing players for your incompetence is a way for you to make us believe that the mistake was ours and not yours. There was maintenance in an attempt to correct the problem that got worse and instead of monitoring very closely, you left the game for more than 12 hours active and thus more people ended up ■■■■■■■ with it. It is not the question of being intentional or not, but the question that you do not know how to solve and take the blame for the problem and decide to use the players as “examples” of the mistakes that you do not know how to manage.
