To be fair, that made me giggle but I really wish people would quit tossing that term around so much. I haven’t seen as much of it on the forums lately which is nice. There are some good dialogs going on in this thread and others.
It is important to remember some people aren’t going to see it as a bad thing but also that there is nothing wrong with speculation and feedback from the negative viewpoint either.

Yeah we have! I don’t mind making nice with someone. I can vehemently disagree with you and still get along. Usually. With the exception of one or two people on here, there’s no one that I can say I outright dislike. Most of the community is here, complainers or not, because they care about the game. We all want it to do well, as you’ve said yourself… just I can understand being jaded at this point.
I admit, a small part of me is hoping that the gacha is actually fair and worthwhile. The concept is meant to be fun–like the gachapon machines that I love… it’s just never translated over well into the digital gaming market in my past experiences.
Now if all the items were worth at least 75%ish of the cost…? And P2W ones, well if those are in the exchange shop–and you can exchange stuff you can buy off the market… That might be okay? I’d have to wait and see. I wish they’d given a much more detailed post about it so we’re not left to speculate like this. It’s far too easy to assume the worst.

When your game is so laggy, has so many bugs, has so many skills who still won’t work, new things that get broken every maint (like Zalciai, just why and how ?), but then instead of fixing it you add asap a way to get more money… It just makes you realize how they don’t care about you.
Let’s just remember that some skills and classes (like let’s say… Sadhu 8D) have been full of bugs and broken since the very beginning of EA. And yet they add this stupid gacha ?
Everybody here, everybody who has played since EA, who played the closed betas, who were waiting for the game to get released love this game. They truly do. They saw so much potential in it. They want it to be great, to be the best, to reach its full potential.
But I don’t know, they just keep taking dumb decisions I guess… Decisions that make you realize that they don’t care about reaching full potential. They don’t seem to really care about their game or their clients… They just want to make as much profit as possible.
And yeah, making costumes cheaper would be a way to sell more.
I see dumb sim games get so much money just because people love the idea of buying new clothes, new hair, new hair dyes, new shiny things, or even goods, and if you make it cheap enough people won’t be able to be reasonable about it.
If something is at 5-10$ they’ll go “Aaah, I shouldn’t… But it’s only 5$, it’s not much at all… Ah, whatever, I’ll take it !” x10, but if you put one thing at 30$ they’ll go “Ew, 30$ is way too much for that, it’s just pixels !”.
But well~~ I’ll stop caring as much since they obviously don’t care.
And to @whoever, yeah, maybe they won’t add a lot of P2W items in this gacha version. But maybe they will.
Talking about it now is a way for players to tell them how they feel so they WON’T do it. If they have a chance to get more money with P2W items, no reason for them not to add it. Except if they see the community truly hates those things.
If they didn’t want us to tell them how we feel, they wouldn’t announce it. Announcements are also a way to see what the community expects.

It’s understandable that people would talk about it. However no announcement has hit that there is absolutely any plans that the boxes are coming to iToS. The only one they have announced is the Gacha with Costumes, and an interesting exchange idea. So yes, show your discomfort with costumes being in ranged Gacha’s, but to scream the sky is red when the sky is clearly still blue is non-sense. I’m not talking about civil discussion either. People are literally screaming the sky is falling instead of making mega threads like:
Dear IMC: “This is how we feel about the curent situation with your gacha cubes with Costumes in them.> <We as a collective do not like RNG boxes with what we consider P2W items.”
Not, Dear IMC: FU very much, you mongering whores! -stomps feet- HOw dare you bring P2W items to iToS! Even though you have made no mention of it, you guys are nothing but cash cow hungering mongoliods! Tree os Savior is daed gmae!
Edit: My feelings may vary if they ever do actually announce the 10tp ranged boxes coming.

The same is said for those who are negative.
If you had two piles of ■■■■, but one pile had glitter on it, and I had to choose one. I’d choose the glittery ■■■■. Sure it’s still ■■■■ but it’s pretty, that and positive people tend to live much longer than their conterparts. 
… you literally chose the ■■■■ that would make a bigger mess and is harder to clean up because its prettier? I do say i am better suited to politics than you. lol
