After reading through this thread. I think some people here are literally delusional. That includes myself since I’m making YT content that actually takes effort about this game…

Anyways, I don’t think the gacha will be the same. They don’t look the same and the description we got on the Announcement told us something different.

If I understand it correctly we’ll get a cosmetic gacha with some random loot in it too that can be exchanged into medals so that you can eventually get the specific item you wanted.

kTOS gacha looks like plain P2W to me so I agree with some people here to some extent. I don’t want to jump into conclusions BUT if they do implement the Gacha featured on the video I’m pretty sure the game won’t survive much longer in the west. And honestly, if they do implement something as P2W as the gacha from the video. I’ll make a Tree of Rant video and quit this game altogether.

Besides NCsoft are there korean video games publishers that are well receivedl in the western market?
Also, when it comes to korean f2p that are not p2w and sucessfull can you recommend some maybe?

Lets face it. ToS has poor descriptions at the best of times. And what they do vs what they say has been different several times in the past.

Yes I agree. However we do not have the ability to see into the future, thus It’s useless to discuss about something we don’t know. It’ll always come down to speculation.

You know i remember having this exact conversation with someone during beta. This isn’t about discussion, its about letting IMC know what we don’t want coming to our servers. IMC is kinda slow they only really understand blunt force trauma.

And you legit think they don’t? We always make sure to be assholes about it anyways. Every time there is something to discuss in the Forums people go berserk and flood with hateful stuff towards the thing.

I’m pretty sure it’s clear that they understand that.
That said. As I said in my other post. If they do implement the Gacha featured in OP’s video… May the gods have mercy upon IMC’s soul.

They’ll lose this game in a heartbeat.

Thats because that was the only method that showed results during beta. People had to riot and burn the forums to get them to listen.

If they were receptive or responded to calm discussion then i am sure there are many that would be willing to have it with IMC, but the fact is they don’t. They almost never acknowledge things people are displease about and just throw 5 word comments on that forums every once in a while that don’t relate to any issues. And of the few times they have actually tried to post information they posted wrong information.

whales in usd is powerful~ much like the china whales culture~

imc just lingering and clinging between p2w or not… which, drives player even more crazy…

There’s chance you may be right.

As I said in another thread, it’ll just become whales out-whaling each other. The player who can throw the most money at IMC wins.

TOS will still be profitable for IMC and it won’t matter whether it has 50k+ or 4k-below players as long as these whales are kept satisfied.

I think your disagreement with me is happening because you and I have different views as to what is a dead game.

In my view a dead game is a game with 1k population over 5 servers that makes enough money to keep it alive and renders a bit of profit. (Which should happen in about 6~8 months from now if the CCU keeps dropping as steady as it has been for the past 3 months)

I guess in your view a dead game is a game that ends it’s services.

Im already eyeing up the Bless beta encase this game goes down that road lol. Im a whale when it comes to cosmetics but as soon as you can buy/rent BIS items or near top tier items, im out.

Well, good for you that you have that kind of money to sink deep into the corpse of the game. Hopefully that won’t be necessary though.

Cause the gacha showcased on the video is P2W. This game took the Ragnarok path 10 times faster than Ragnarok. lol

Not sure the game can be saved anyways. If IMC had to choose between making the game p2w and getting a hundred thousand dollars now while the game dies within a month, or not implementing p2w and only making fifty thousand as the game dies a slow death over the course of half a year while also incurring server expenses, any smart business man would choose the former.
