It's a test! says awkward people

It’s fineee. It sounds like hell in Zemyna, I don’t think people are having a fun time in Gabija either. :broken_heart:

I just don’t get it, on first CBT i had a lot more money, cuz time spend on lvl was way more then now. In CBT2 we got increased exp rates, but drop and money rates are standard(lets say x1). So now it even worse. just wtf is wrong with IMC? If selling prices will on OBT or release, i will not gonna play, it’s just too stupid.
P.S. Why after maintenance 2nd chanel after 60+ lvls is disappeared? -_-
P.S.2 And why maintenance market doesn’t works again? Idc about chat, cuz most of the time i didn’t get anything informative from it, just trash talk.

Yeap i totally agree with Choja.

First off, Yes we know the repair cost was a bug. But i guess the main point here is regarding “oh its fine” attitude.

As much as all the elitist are saying “oh its fine, you just gotta Learn to play”

I guess a “Test” for close beta should be mainly focusing on the in game bugs.

like for example

  • Quest bugs
  • Skill bugs
  • NPC/Companion/Minion AI bugs
  • Map Bugs
  • Functional bugs like Party… UI… Chat… Market …

and of course many more… these are the BASICS for the game that is required to be working well and fine when the actual game runs.

people are screaming too much stuff like “OH BE THANKFUL THAT YOU GET TO PLAY CBT”

Well, sad to say IMC should be grateful that there are players playing the game for them right now, so that they can solve bugs and issue prior to the actual release of the game. And yes, now is the time for people to totally wreck the game and report all the bugs, SO that they can fix them,

You think they have the fund to pay testers to do professional test for them at such a large scale? lol dream much, the last thing they wanna do is to piss their CBT tester right now and collect lesser data at the end of the CBT.

At the end of the day all of the data will be wiped, who cares about earning money now? farming money for them to be deleted? i spend every single silver i have on upgrading my stuff and attribute skills.

Why should i waste time to farm gold or stuff. what i care now is to progress at a reasonable speed to at least try quests/dungeons a few times. get into maps, see if i get stuck on any “invisible brick” while running. do my higher tier advancement quest, see if my grade 6 spells is doing some insane damage due to unforeseen spell combination, try killing world boss with tons of people, or if there is any specific way that i do my stuff causing a bug etc.

Economy in TOS is fine, knowing you have how many 0/100 attribute skill to learn for your skills and how much they cost? try to make a +15 weapon as well while maximizing the potential? the amount of money sink here is well under control. oh wait did i mention its for 1 character? let me make a PVP character now! oh my guild needs a tank! let me level 1 as well, you get the idea.

doing a “economy” test now is just plain lame. try playing a Dievdirby when you cant even carve a statue due to bug, when that class is all about carving statue, try going into dungeon when you cant create a party?

CBT -> Player time into the game are almost going down the drain, except with the prior knowledge of how to deal with the game better at the start (knowing where to go, how to do , NPC locations etc.) provided things dont have major revamps.

it does not hurt any of the player at all right now to stop playing the game during the CBT period. IMC will get the burn, not the players.

Saying that the game is " its fine" while we so called the whiner brought this up for IMC to acknowledge that its a bug? think about it “fine” guys.

lol we dont need “its fine” guys to test the game. we need people who cry like a baby to test. so you can sit back and enjoy a bug free game next time =)

It is almost a guaranteed accident.

They won’t be able to remove the exp rates from CBT going to Launch for western audiences. There’s a reason previous korean MMOs fell completely on their faces with the massive grind aspects, but TSO seems to be grind x 10 compared to other korean MMOs.

If they want to succeed outside of Korea they will have to accept that exp rates, most likely, need to improve, and the economy should probably stay as it was prior to today’s patch mess up.

When economy crisis happens like what is going on now… its pretty predictable no?

  1. Major QQ from most people, /ragequit (piss more CBT testers off and let them tell their friend how f** up this game economy is) and collect lesser data at the end

  2. Endure the pain and continue farming like nerds that do not have life. but wait? farming in a CBT? (i dont mind to do this in live servers, but on CBT? hell no) Well yea, people may try to exploit the game by messing around with NPC to try to get more silver etc, but aw cmon, my market and NPC are not even selling / buying stuff at times is this really necessary? fix these basic bugs first? lol

  3. try the game perhaps in another 2 years

at this point of the CBT it makes no sense to do “economy” testing. my stupid friend list is not working why not try fixing that first?

Think out of your shoes for once.

People shouldn’t be down-inthe-dumps poor, but I dunno if giving everyone infinite money and letting them 100% the game as it is right now “so everything is tested” is a great idea.

I can tell on many bug reports that not everyone puts effort in testing, making barebones reports (no computer specs, little context, etc) and stuff, rather more would just play the entire game as is, judge it, and ditch it for other games maybe since “they’re done with it”.

Having things unreachable even in beta can be a good thing; it tells the developers what players can and cannot reach given realistic economic scenarios. Data gathered from a game where the economy is pumped full of silver is basically useless data since irl it wouldn’t be that way.

agreed totally, i would have probably asked for billions of silver to test on my own.

there is always pros and cons for all decision.

with more silver we can have access to more content easily, identifying more potential higher tiered bugs.
but at the same time like what you said, people might just judge the game based on how easy it is in CBT.

shiro kowaii :3

 :purple_heart: :yellow_heart: :blue_heart: :green_heart: :heart_decoration: < a pop up told me to try a heart, but I couldn’t pick a color :\

This change pretty much confirms they have no tact whatsoever when it comes to balancing. Stuff will always either be way out of line or complete garbage (see: Divine Might).

cut them some salami, they are (hopefully) doing all they can to make this game great, they are humans so they aren’t perfect…

and don’t compare… I hate when people compare one thing with another :@

This, here.
I’m still confused by the latest level of befuddlement.

I mean, the economy won’t be like it’s now or like it was before while the server is closed beta.

And there you have it, folks. Due to an active community, the repair and teleportation prices along with the other changes in the economy are back to what they were before. This would never be fixed this fast if we just kept with the “it’s just a test” mentality. Good job, guys. Don’t listen to these guys, unlike them we are trying to make the final product as polished as can be.

I totally agree with you @ChojaHiragawa .
The game has become frustrated to so many people that joined, that you can feel how many people quit this game already because of IMC choices, and by feel you see the channels less crowded then it used to be and in lags in general, I’ve tested dozens of ARPG games as for betas and alphas and by far this has been my worst one in experience since day one.
It could be because IMC are an inexperienced company or because they just don’t understand what it means of our community, which leads back to them being inexperienced.

Hopefully they will start thinking out of the box.
