Isbality + Manamana vs Maga Bow [World Boss]

[Edited]
I’m deciding what to build first, and now i’m asking which will be better to invest for?

I know both bows damage are situational, example, Bow will be better for flying boss and isbality will be better for devil types…

It’s just, I’m still not satisfied with what I think is going to be better for WB’ing…

[Personal choice…]
Isbality+Manamana - reason cause i already have manamana and isbality’s devil type additional damage seems good? hahaha Please help thanks

And i was also thinking about the Lightning Property Attack +278 of manamana which it will add to all my skills… right? haha

[Additional] Archer2 Ranger1 Scout1 Fletch3 here

Isbality + Manamana without a doubt. This is the best WB set (for now).

On Flying you can switch to 2H Bow but everything else x-bow/manamana.

On that note if you are going Mergen at Rank 8 skip isbality / manamana and get Light Goritos or Superior Wreech Bow instead. Maga bow isn’t that great tbh scale poorly with transcending.

Next question… do i need to enhance my manamana? to increase my magic arrow damage? i still don’t know if secondary attack adds damage to my skills

Do not enhance manamana. You are using it for the element attack. Leave it at 0.

Thank you very much

that’s only a corsair thing, as nicola said no reason to waste your money on that for an archer.

Even for SRs? Damn…good thing I read this first before burning silvers

I’m not sure because it seems like most SR skills are mainly using either only the gun or the gun and the bow.
Never played SR so i wouldn’t know.

I understand, hopefully someone can confirm.

SR skills use Pistol damage, so enhancing pistol is fine.
They do not use xbow damage but they will use the bonus stats (+elemental damage, + crit rate, etc.).

All other archers do not use pistol damage, so upgrading pistol will not increase damage. For the other archer classes, manamana is used to benefit of its high elemental attack bonus stat and crit rate stat.

Good to know. As usual, thank you my good Sir Greyhiem. (bow)

Are you really sure about this? I just tested my retreat shot with and without a crossbow, and the difference was quite notorious

I can test tomorrow with a lv 1-15 crossbow too to compare if there’s any doubts. It’d help me as well xD

As a side note, this also affects cannoneer skills. I have tested a friend’s canon blast with SKS and with grajus and the difference was huge

There is such a thing as missile damage penalty when attacking Large and Medium enemies. Having a +5 anvil or higher crossbow reduces this penalty, so that might be a reason why you would see different damage on SR skills if you are comparing the damage dealt with a crossbow equipped to the damage dealt with no crossbow equipped against a Medium sized enemy.

The crossbow’s secondary effects such as gems, enemy type bonuses or stat bonuses also would apply to the cannoneer/SR skills even if the crossbow’s physical damage itself does not.

I am sure.
Your dmg difference is due to missile penalty.
Need +5 main Hand weapon to make all [missile] attacks get no penalty.

The crossbow I recommend for crit reiter is bandit +5.

@greyhiem
You were right. The base physical attack of the crossbow doesn’t affect the damage of SR skills and the extra stats do affect it

That would make isbality the best xbow for SRs against demons, bandit as all-rounder with high crit rate, magas against plate and grajus against leather/large mobs.

Guess I will ditch this catacombs shooter now

Thank you for recording!

But still need to enhance crossbow since since the crossbow will still effect skill like barrage, split arrow etc right?
