Is there a sapper build that's viable in both PvE and PvP/GvG?

I’m set on making a sapper, but I was thinking should I make something like A2>Sapper 2>Wugushi2>Musk/Cannon?

I know that this build would be good in PvE but I was wondering which path I should take for it to have some PvP viability as well.

currently wugushi can be countered by PD and antidote. If you want pvp may be switch 1 wugushi circle for scout.

Archer 2 > Sapper 2 > Scout 1 > Falconeer 1 > Musketeer 1
Archer 2 > Sapper 2 > Fletcher 3

Probably your best bets for a PvP/PvE balance with sapper.
