I see str becoming king depending on the revamp.
dex is popular because its the poor mans build.
no need to spend 20mils on crit rate gear when you can just load up on dex.
no need to dodge anything when you can just spend 10mil on defence headgear/gems/refinement on top/bottom so that every physical attack hits you for 1 anyway.
Think you donât play the same game as us. DEX is also the rich mans stat because it opens up a variety of other rings than just Sissel. It opens up the usage of other gems than green.
DEX > STR because of transcendence.

STR is uselless if you canât hit your target. Rebuild STR without deal with DEX not gonna help too much outside PvM.
Placebo stat anyway.
well im only interested in Pve so they already said they will work on STR what if its suddenly better than dex again in terms of dmg ?

The difference is, there is no DEX equivalent for physical damage. Magic attackers just get â â â â â â by stats in general, but that doesnât make STR a good stat in reality, just by comparison to INT.
Youâre also just blatantly incorrect about spreading stats being the most efficient, because of how the stat point investment works. You get X bonus points for every Y points youâve already invested, to the point where eventually if you dump all your points into a single stat youâre getting 2 points for every 1 point invested. Thereâs also the % rank bonus that encourages going all-in on STR/INT even more, if STR is the dominant stat. Since stats from gear do not benefit from this bonus stacking mechanic, the most optimal way to build is to go 100% into one stat or the other, and compensate for what you lack in gear.

Remove to all melee skills the casts and long animations. Make it all like the cart termination in RO
I resetted to full dex and itâs way better than STR. Got massive amounts of evasion, crit rate, and accuracy. And didnât lose any PATK due to headgear and red gems lol. Headgear alone gives me 340+ patkâŚ

One would expect IMC to give another stat reset if they make STR better than DEX.
But still, I just used the event reset. I got another stat reset anyways⌠They would have to buff STR a ton to make it better than DEX. Block Pen. doesnât cut it anymore.
