Is saving cards really worth it?

doing the math for you:
level 3 exp cards gives 8442 exp
220 cards would give you 1857240
level 4 exp cards gives 22860 exp
100 cards would give you 2286000 exp
.

  • 1857240
  • 2286000
    = 4143240

you would need 37,064832 to jump from 161 to 173 ( and 39,72064 from 160 to 173), 10 times that…

I’m a cleric, what are these HP pots you speak of? Can you eat them?

I’ve also heard about SP pots but I barely ever need to drink them  :grinning:

Seriously though, I do agree with this, no need to save cards early on (i.e. lvl 1-40) from then on it’s your choice whether you want to save them or not. However I do recommend saving cards for when the exp curve resets like at 86.

I think you made a little mistake there.

4 million exp would only get from 161 to about 40% in 162.

lol, totally my bad haha, i’ve put an extra digit when passing to the calculator

how came you’re the only one who noticed, and it took so long for someone to say that? XD

i’m editting btw @_@

Because of that reddit thread I linked earlier.

The levels near 170 all requires very close to/more than 4m exp to get.

So when your number list at 4m and a 12 level jump, that got my attention XD

after adding the exp from exp cards, i started subtracting the experience needed to each level, but when i did that part, i accidentaly mistypped and doubled a digit, going from 4m to 40m

that’s why i said 12 levels XD but yeah, you’d get only 1 and something, totally my bad

I like to save cards for free level ups (equals free mana/health restoration) for certain bosses. Instead of using potions that cost money, i just level up spamming the cards while keeping distance.

Yes there is a penalty for killing stronger mobs, you can check it yourself.

I have checked it myself. Have you?

I did. Monsters 30-35 levels above give less exp than equal level ones.

What did you fight exactly?

And how did you ‘confirm’ it gave less exp?

lol… That’s you saying you tested something and giving a range of lvls instead of an exact number. Anyway:

Important numbers are highlighted for your viewing pleasure :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Corrupt Deadborn Scap Archers in the Valius’ Eternal Resting Place.
I was calulating by amout of mobs per 0.1% of current level’s exp.

Huh, I thought we’re supposed to get higher exp rate for beta? Or is that 894 the already boosted rate, or that the exp required per level is actually reduced and not that exp gain is increased?

894 is already boosted, yes. Tosbase was updated for that.

Lv.100~ quests at Veins (Fediman) are a decent place to grind for some easy exp (as mob level is the avg. of your party, you will always have mobs around your level).

how u active this xp resource track?
EDIT:nevermind, found it

Is all BS, you can get to lvl 225 whiout any grind at all. The ones stuck at 170 is because they dont do explorations, each map is 3 cards and that sums up alot.

sorry for necro, didnt notice.

I agree completelly with you.
Save cards is just a ingenuous form of perception, that where people dont see is by keeping your level equal to the map always, you lose more time killing the monsters to receive the exp, but if you are a level high than the map you can easily finish all the quests one after another, and the game have lots and lots of quests and hidden quests! Not to mention the Adventure Jornal and completing maps that also give your even more cards!

People think about it. The game give a minimum of two routes for the same levels (that mean, one map after another to leveling all over again), sometimes even 3 routes (close to femidian for example there are 3 routes for level 100 players), yes, you can receive cards for the same level in 3 different maps/routes.
I for example used my cards and I’m easily on the 120 lv. I dont did the hidden quests, dont completed all the maps, and I have the entire Orsha side to do it. Not to mention you always will lose 4x less time to complete quests and kill bosses.

Just never use the cards before you go a minimum of 6 times the dungeon of your level, or if you are class level 15, for obvious reasons.

People become ingenuous hypnotized by cards calculators, instead think about the time they lose if there are numerous cards to use, only needing to do quests.
