Is it possible to back-pedal classes?

I saw this video recently and it confuses me. This guy is apparently a Pyromancer and Cryomancer at the same time, which I thought was impossible.

As far as my knowledge goes, I’m pretty sure you can back-pedal to classes that you previously selected; but ONLY if you selected them.

For example, if you select Wizard C1 -> Pyromancer C1 -> Psychokino C1 for your first 3 ranks, your 4th rank will give you the ability to choose to Wizard C2, Pyromancer C2, Psychokino C2, Thaumaturge C1, and Elementalist C1. However, you’d be forbidden from choosing Cryomancer or Linker.

  1. Am I wrong in assuming you can select previously selected classes?

  2. Is it possible to select classes that weren’t previously selected?

If anyone’s curious about his build, it’s some variation of Wizard x3, Pyromancer, Cryomancer, Thaumaturge, Rune Caster.

Whenever you advance a rank, you can choose ANY class, back and forth, without the need of previously having a rank on it.

yes you can, once you open a rank all the options are unlocked and you can go back to them even after going to the next one…
