How does it compare to a dex/str build?
Not worth.
Alchemist pots are cheap and work really well.
Archer in general was heavily buffed,you won’t need CD0 skill spam anymore(even though some classes can stil ldo it).

It never was. It was just something people did because they thought spamming oblique shot to max level was awesome. Which is still possible if you really want to do that, you just buy pots instead of wasting stat points. There are tons of better ways to level though.

bad choice trust me. STR 5:1 DEX is best for most classes.
5:1 ? that’s not a 100% hit i think, or else you have accuracy items
450 STR: 100 DEX, why not? a lot people work out that way 
100% hit against what? It all depends on whether or not you want to PvP. You can actually build 0 dex in PvE as long as you upgrade your gloves, and always hit monsters no problem. The issue comes in PvP, where people go full dex builds and you need to have enough accuracy to hit them.
really ? even around lvl 180-200 you still hit 100% whithout dex ?
i used to build my archer STR 3:2 dex in the cb , so i wouldnt know, but if you’r sure about that then why not
Rly… I’m archer 60 atm and I’ve never missed an attack. I only got some dex to improve my crit rate and that’s what you should be thinking about. Ofcourse, that is PVE focused. For PVP you need a whole diferent approach.
