Is auto weapon swap working?

is this feature working with archers?

if i am using a pistol+xbow using wugushi skills and i use my cannoner skill i am able to shoot a skill with my cannon but i don’t get back my pistol+xbow automatically.

this problem is even worse if you are a using a ghosting keyboard, when you are using a low budget keyboard with ghosting, it means when i need to press alt+z to change it back to pistol+xbow i am not able to move while i am doing this and i die easily, instead buying TP this month i will need to buy a decent keyboard gamer :disappointed_relieved:

edit to understand better what we are talking about:

the swap system is an attribute skill that helps you to change weapon pressing alt+z but with archers was special, if you had a cannoner job or musketer with these classes it was special, only if you had cannoner or a musketer.

for example if i have 4 slot in the weapon swap system, xbow+pistol and the next 2 slot xbow+cannon.

imagine that i am playing and walking and using skill with my xbow+pistol, like wugushi skills or archer skills if press a cannoner skill (it will auto swap my weapon to xbow+cannon yes fine) but (it won’t auto swap back to my xbow+pistol again) so i need to press alt+z or to use my xbow+pistol again.

this is seriously problem when you ghosting keyboard, this keyboard it not gamer and you can’t press 4 keys at the same time, i mean alt+z while move with righ+left for example i won’t be able to move, also if you ping is high like mine in central america to silute 200-450ms if you press weapon swap sometime you get the same weapon because you feel that you didn’t press it, so to fix a little the pain i don’t the weapon swap system to change weapon i just use it to handle the weapons

for example i’m using now xbow+cannon and xbow+pistol in my 4 slot in the weapon swap… but i use a weapon in a skill shoot in the Q for example my pistol so i’m not able to get the same weapon with high ping and i am able to move with my ghosting keyboard but still i need to sacrifice a skill shoot where i put my skills.

conclusion:

weapon swap is working but not the special double weapon swap for cannoners and musketers and it’s very important to those classes, send this to the korean team because we need double weapon swap like an optional mode.

You could always try to add the equips in your quick slots, if you use Keyboard mode, you can put the equips in a NUMPAD configuration and try to see if that helps.

yes this is helping me a little thanks, at least i can move like this, with my equips pistol+cannon and pistol+bow in weapon swap but with my manana in my V i need to sacrifice a slot skill in the keyboard to do it fast, so i am not able to press twice the weapon swap and get the same weaponby mistake if i have lag spike because i’m using it just to handle weapons not to change it,better but still problematic.

did they change this or is this a bug?

They changed auto-weapon swap so it is working as intended. It will auto-swap to cannon, but then you would need to swap back manually.

no that won’t help me with high ping, sometimes i get the same weapon, using a weapon in skill slot is what i needed but with all weapons in the weapon swap slots i explained it but i need to sacrifice a skill slot because my keyboard has ghosting

Pretty sure it bugged out. I was able to talk with GM Grape right after the patch that broke it and he said “We did made some improvements into that, but that shouldn’t happen” meaning… Yeah they made something entirely different and ended up fking the auto swap system.

If I remember correctly it was a patch where the game would be able to remember your “swapped weapond” section you was even if you change maps/channels, pretty sure it lead to the game “remembering” it and bugging out the auto swap entirely. Figured I wouldn’t even bother with it anymore cuz all my tickets end up with “oh sad to hear you have problems with ping” and they just can’t understand. Hope it gets fixed sometime.

a double weapon swap is necessary i am about to sell my manamana to use only xbow+cannon is super annoying to play like this with archers.

Yeah try playing a Swordsman who has to use more than one weapon, you don’t get any kind of autoswap at all.

Yeah part of me thinks they did this to avoid cannoneers from being able to use a shield, since they could use xbow+shield, and have cannon as an auto-swap.

Meanwhile musketeers couldn’t do that since it would not auto-swap back.

That’s not like “mehehe see now you will suffer like swordsmans suffers!” it COULD be like that but it is NOT intended, the patch note said something entirely different, and it sure is bugged cuz it works pretty fine sometimes and sometimes doesn’t. Also it would be pretty fine if we could just swap but if you are with a Bow and use a Musket skill for an example, it swaps to Musk but STAYS WITH BOW on the little auto swap section making it a pain having to double swap entirely just so we can attack with Bow again, and again, and again. It’s worse than not having the swap function at all.

for muskets, doesnt it auto-swap both ways? I.e. if you use a musket skill while in Bow it swaps, and vice versa?

For cannoneer it doesn’t swap back to bow if you have cannon equipped, since your main hand is free, whereas a musket is a 2h weapon.

the main problem is not the swap, it’s what i call double swap, with musketers was working too, it’s not working with musketeers either, if you are using a bow to kill air monsters and you use a musketeer skill it will swap but it won’t auto swap again to your bow and you need to keep swapping and swapping since your skills has low cd, so annoying man.

I get that, but what I am asking is the reverse case for muskets.

If you have a musket equipped and you use a bow skill, does it auto-swap or not allow you to use the bow skill?

i don’t remember the reverse case because i was lv 240 with some R7 skills it didn’t make sense to that reseve swap i undestand what you mean now with cannoner is not working i tried it now, i need to test it with musketeers

super annoying to use manamana when you have zero skills for pistol
they should make pistol attribute only for SR like rapier\spear\2hswords for swordsman

It auto swapped for me when I tried Musketeer a few days ago, but it didn’t auto swap back to musket until I used a musket only skill.
