Good day! I’d just like to share that the only workaround byfar that works for me(and some) is the the [Enter] spam.
Hope we can get a perma fix asap. 
P.S. yep I did try your suggested fixes here, but nope, it didn’t do the job.
Delete Client_tos.exe in release folder and then verify integrity of game files.
oh, did i not mention that I redownloaded the entire game?

Log into different server click create toon but cancel after selecting class logout select your original server and bam works
