Interested to play hacka in r10, please help a few stuff here

hi guys, im a a2 qs3 falc3 merg1 currently and planning to change to hackapell in future r10 update a few stuff i want to ask experienced hacka player because i’ve never play a char with mount skills.
Because if i feel doesnt feel worth it i might stick with merg2.
Lastly from what ive read is that falc3 have a +crit rate attribute for their c3 in r10, so with xbow & sword i might put 10 lv6/7 green gem or something like that (sorry if its sounds dumb)

  1. how does hacka do in pve situation (solo grind and HG stuff), what is pro and cons in terms on this point and how does it perform compared to merg1.

  2. im going for a1 qs3 falc 3 hacka 2 1xx , any opinion which is the best between a2, wug1, and rog1 ?
    (in case if rogue 1 is the preferabble choice do i need to level up vendetta? theres different build on tosbase with maxed and 0 level on vendetta)
    (in case of wugu 1, do i have to max zhendu or just 1 level since im a semi-aa, and do i need throw gu pot as my aoe dps skill?)

  3. i do believe that i use pheasant, aiming, circling, pre-emptive, sonic strike, call, running shot and swift step buff while im riding my pet (please cmmiw here) ,

    i watched a video where you can use falc skills while riding, so if you guys have an updated sheet about mount+skill interaction please share because i cant find one, in case i want to know if i can use caltorps, pavise, wugu c1 skills and rogue c1 skills when im riding my pet

  4. does running shot affect my sub-weapon sword aspd?, in case of if i have to go meele attack after mobbing with pheasant because sword have aor

  5. my falc skill dmg is still based on my xbow damage or my sword dmg?

  6. when i get hit by a mob my character got dismounted, is it the same when im a hacka?

  7. any specific pet that i have to own to perform good? or any pet?

  8. do i have to equip my pet? , if yes any recommended one?

  9. my stat distribution will be 100-200 con and rest is dex, is it good?

  1. Hacka performs quite well like most of the other fellow rank eights. They just lack the AoE and focuses more on burst damage.

  2. I prefer Rogue since it compliments Hacka well. For only going circle 1 for it, if you think you’ll really need that +25 Str buff, then go for it. Capture is situational, but it’s still nice.

  3. Yeah all the skills you’ve got listed are usable while mounted. You can also check if they’re usable while mounted on https://tos.neet.tv/ since it is a bit more updated.

  4. The attack speed affects sub weapons, but you won’t get the extra line of damage crossbow does.

  5. Crossbow.

  6. Nope. You can also dash too while mounted.

  7. Just get Goro. Riding a dog with a suit and glasses lets you know he means business.

  8. Yes you gotta equip your pet. And Goro. Simply because it’s Goro. (You’re really just fine with any pet though. All cosmetics in the end.)

  9. That’s pretty solid, I’d stick with it.

  10. As far as I’ve experienced Hacka, I’ve had an absolute blast. I mean it’s an archer that suddenly up and decided to go mounted and all melee, who doesn’t think that’s awesome?

Small tip is to also equip a shield as your main. Hacka will quickly swap to sword real quick when using their skills. QS shield attribute gives a tremendous damage boost. But, they’re planning to change all that in the near future. If you go Rogue, it’ll open up more options for you since it provides a solid crit chance.

by shield, like any 350/380 shield or do i have to invest to something like primus, masi, emengard, etc? and do i equip xbow + shield and my sword is sitting in inventory and it will automatically used when using hacka skill? or doing wepon swap hotkey?
but also you said it will change in r10 do i still have to do that shield stuff?

Only for Falcon skill

For the weapons if you can invest in some gear you can use a good bow + crossbow/Sword, with this the crossbow no need a good enchant/trascendence only good stats+gems, and the bow with good enchant/trans because bow damage is better than crossbow and hacka skills only use sword damage+ stats/gems from the crossbow

The shield attribute from QS will be nerfed, no more damage only extra mov speed

ty for the input, but im not sure i will invest for weapon swap, currently im using bow and grand cross only to trigger my running shot, but sometime when i swap back my weapon it is unequipped automatically, so its pretty inconvenient if i have to keep swapping weapon for pheasant->hacka combo and suddenly my sword isnt equipped, i dont know why it happen.

Thats happen sometimes when you swap manually, but archers have autoswap so you should not have that problem (In theory)

i would like to ask some question again
as from the guide ive read, you have to equip werewolf card to maximize rogue 1 build, but currently im equipped with 3x marnox lv 10, and it feels a waste if i have to change it, so is it better to get a2 or appraiser (blindside and devaluation sound good, also i believe overestimate affect your sword?) or do i still get rogue?

If you get Rogue,get at least one circle of Ranger.

Critical Shot gives a nasty buff to critical damage and you get the Feint+Barrage combo.

The changes to QS made it way more autoattack oriented(means you only go for it for C3),if you want to use skills Ranger is way better simply because of Steady Aim and Critical Shot, can’t beat those.

With Rank 10 we’ll be able to go SR3>Hacka 2

You can still use Hackapalle, Leg Shot and Cavalry Charge with crossbow+Pistol. Dashing and Limacon with aspd boost of Hackapalle can be fun.
