I want clarification though cause with the initial ktos blog post I got the impression that it would boost all magic damage and not just those from magic circles.
Great changes we had here. As a Peltasta main I’m really happy with the shield deffense affecting the damage, the Cassis being unlimited and the changes in Swash Buckling. Nice!
I don’t like the changes to the wizard and shinobi trees, but i like most of them. Chronomancers are going to need a time cart to haul all the reagents they’ll need.
Now do the archer tree. And also monk again. Still so many useless skills.

And nefred Pyro’s Enchant Fire (no more party). After all those changes, I expect daily rank reset vouchers for 2 weeks. Psychokino just became what Cryo used to (crowd control) - at least Magnetic Force range has been increased. Ok, Snow Rolling got a casting cut, that’s good, but Ice Pillar is almost useless. At least now it give damage, just like Fire Pillar, otherwise, it’d be completely useless. And Chrono? What is that? My Chrono is full INT. I’d have to go full SPR in order to get it back to it’s current form. And that would mean nerfing my attack.
Many skills have been buffed, but why did you have to nerf so many other skills? Why IMC?
Enchant Fire is applied only to the caster, no longer affecting party members or other players.
Now I’m less desirable in parties. lel.
Welcome to my world 
-Cryo has been finally changed and doesn’t enable free ride for all the content. The CC given by the tree isn’t negligible and isn’t useless as you said. A frozen monster is still a cced monster. It is still a strong spell. As a counterpart you gain damages on it and the interactions with RC are wider (yes it is kinda a big nerf on ice wall//PP combo).
-Thaumaturge. This class needed a nerf for a long time. I’m playing one with full SPR and it is really stupid that one can reach more than 6500 Matt with a +11 lvl 315 purple weapon without gems or trans.
Its buffs are still valuable, for the moment we don’t know the power level of the new WB but i bet that having more PDef will be very valuable. Most of the time, the Matt from swell right arm was only for the caster itself because most of the player plays with a MH/Shield or a 2H weapon. In my opinion it is more savage for a Corsair//Fencer than for the Thauma, for the latter lossing all the benefit and for the first the benefit is nearly cut in half (60% for the skills).
-Enchanter: Lightning hands Skill ratio has been improved and most of the spells remain the same. Adding reagents are not a nerf but to make it fair to the Clerics which are using tons of components too. Note that I find the principle of paying buffs really strange. I rather remove all the components from the game than adding them or adds a price on the spells directly.
-Chrono: you need exactly 360 SPR to get what you had before, with good gear (INT+SPR) you won’t need to invest that much in it (Having SP to cast spell is always useful).
Why do they nerf all the cheesing path?
Because in a grinding game, it is not really acceptable to have a character which can clear all the content without the need of stuff.
In a grinding game, it’s necessary to allow new or casual players to play with friends. Blocking people off with massive grind walls just makes most of them quit. That’s why IMC ended up trivializing the leveling grind and making most of the leveling content irrelevant. Repeating the same thing with gear instead of exp doesn’t work any better.
These changes don’t give those supports an incentive to grind gear, either, so it’s also disappointing for those who want scaling. And content is so easy that frost pillar was a mere convenience. So what’s the point of nerfs that add nothing to gameplay and just remove options? Oh right, it’s because you want to mindlessly cheese everything with gear alone.
What’s the point of ccing monsters with freezes? Stopping their movement can prevent them from grouping up, causing a dps loss, and their damage doesn’t pose any threat.
As @trielav pointed out, what does removing useful skills accomplish? I can understand why Cryo’s Gust and Musketeer’s Bayonet Thrust were removed, because nobody uses them (and for Butt Stroke, they got attribute, which, IMO is better than wasting points on skills).

Also, I am lucky that I am Linker 2, since (at least I hope) I can keep sharing Enchant Fire with my party, but if they nerf that too, I'll become even less wanted in a party. I'm also lucky that I opted for Cryo > Kino on another char, since I can now use both Snow Rolling and Magnetic Force to crowd control, but they have a limit on the monsters,, unlike Front Pillar, which was faster and didn't had a monster limit.
Not sure about other people, but those nerfs excuse me, this “balancing” makes my playstyle on my Wizzards less enjoyable. I am now tempted to try other Wizzards because they got powered up, but my point is that nerfing classes will just mean more unsatisfied people. I am ok with powering other classes to make the gameplay more enjoyable, but I’m not ok with nerfing. Just look at the Archer tree. They got nerfed over and over. Wugushi and Fletcher got nerfed into oblivion, Scout’s Split Arrow also got nerfed, Schwartzer Reiter also got nerfed (although through a miracle, it is still strong, but uses more SP than my Chrono and Kino), Mergen is weak if it doesn’t have Falconer. Falconer is the last class that needs nerf. Just do it IMC. Falconer already got nerfed by not making mobs have 0 AOE Def Ratio, now with 1 AOE DR, I hit a lot less mobs. Circling used to be Joint Penalty on steroids.
And keep in mind that the majority of players don’t spend time on the forum to comment. They just get IMC’d.
Are we going to get rank-reset event with this patch? Because no rank reset event in KTOS
It’s not out in ktos yet, but there currently is a rank reset event for wizards in ktest. One per account for two weeks. Meanwhile, those who have Shinobi in their lodge got 2x.
I hope they take more time to test.
I’m happy they bring more synergy to make more build varieties.
But… at the same time, Meteor/SpiritualChain/MentalShock/RuneOfDestruction just broken the game with more cap damage ability. As well as DemonScratch/KundelaSlash massive sfr up is not neccessary, as if new matk support not enough. And Shadow Conjuration attribute is buffed. 777k damage is everywhere now, with wiz can achieve it easily with many builds.
Is that what we want to see in the game? Power 1 shot everything with no strategy involve at all?
Yes.
I would just say this is syndrome of a dying game, indeed it is at a right direction.
Sounds like about time for me 
When everything is about solo and small party dominating, no more reason my friend to join back.
It’s obvious even oracles, kabbalists and others unique builds will go full damage too while anything related to teamplay, support will be “fixed”
