INT vs Every other stat

None of our skills are % besides meteor
Eergy Bolt has 150% matk scaling and I am pretty sure Psychic Pressure also has a % scaling.

Pressure’s tooltip says base damage at level 5 is a little over 200, but it is the skill I have that hit the hardest on its own (does about the same damage as my Ice Pike does against Fire monsters, and my Pike has almost the same base damage, but higher Attribute level plus the elemental bonus).

There are a lot of hidden mechanics on ToS yet (like Reflect Shield getting stronger with SPR or Earthquacke with Lethargy, which is not on skill description or anywhere else) that we don’t know about.

About Psychic Pressure, Dynemanti has done some testing with WatchGintama, and apparently it’s just double the base damage+matk. So either the tool tip is wrong, or there’s a bug lol.

If energy bolt has a % modifier besides the attribute bonus then it sure doesn’t work going by the damage it would do for me. And I don’t recall the tooltip mentioning a bonus % in the beta, but I don’t really trust the tooltips half the time.

I haven’t really looked at Psychokino’s skills since it seemed like a poor choice to go into elementalist. I’d go with the tooltip being terrible on it too though

Went and did some tests myself:

Test

Conclusions:
a. Defense damage mitigation is still weird. Doesn’t seem completely flat, but definitely not % based. (Damn you IMC!) :C

b. Psy Pressure gains the double of the damage the tooltip says, as Tsumo stated by other people testing results.
Level 1 -> 2 = 100 damage gain (40 from tooltip * 2, plus 25% from attribute)

c. Psy Pressure has approximately 120% scaling with MATK (instead of the supposed 100% default).
You can apply the formula ((MATK * 1,20 + Pressure base * 2) * Attribute[1,25]). The results are not perfect, since def mitigation is unknown, but they are close.
IMC reworked EB at the second day of the korean beta and didn’t make a new tooltip for it. The reworked skill was the default on iCBT.
Well, a lot of tooltips can’t be trusted, like you said. lol

Next CBT or OBT, everyone’s got to make your class … just with the worst possible skills you can think or to test it out :smiling_imp:

i thougth INT gives defense ignore or something?

No.
(20–Characters)

what about wat i just see satoru say?

Wut?

20_characters_yay?

Lethargy attribute does state that it increase “hit” attacks but the attribute is either bugged or earthquake itself is a “hit” type skill and while it’s not written anywhere on the skill.

I think it may just be an unsaid interaction between skills, like psy pressure + ice wall.

The attribute is very specific and is obviously there for the exact purpose of modifying earthquake (+ whatever other attacks the wizard uses which qualify as “hit”).
The missing part is earthquake (and possibly other spells) not displaying [hit] on the skill description.

From what I can tell this only seems to apply to the wizard? Need to test again on next beta.

Isn’t it Strike type attacks? I think it was just a typo on the translation.

Since I got Thauma buff to have relevant PATK, I will test this later with the Staff melee attack, since it is Strike type, and will post the results here.

@Edit
Melee attacks from Staff gain 20% bonus damage with enemies on Lethargy and the Attribute is ON, so it affects Strike type attacks.

Earthquacke’s second attack seems to be 50% or so bonus damage, and it happens on enemies under Lethargy even when the Attribute is OFF, so it’s probably a special interaction.
