Ah, ok. We’re just 2 sides of a coin. From my years of PvP experience, #3 would just drive me crazy. I’d rather not have my opponent flying around the map even though my attacks clearly hit them and I have to lose a ranked match because player position lag then I get combo’d without even realizing it.

The games great, the publishers great, but the content is limited. We have all the KR content from months back, except for the thief class.

VIP system was removed.
Sorry I mean it’s removed from the game on release, a lot of changes happened to the cash shop!
Oh phew thank god, those VIP buffs were ridiculous! If they had kept it without at least nerfing it then I probably would just quit playing right now

ToS client is mostly #3 only. The client has two different message queues, one for receiving packets, another for sending them. They both work independently. There are few exceptions, such as spell casting that blocks user inputs until the server sends “the spell is ready!”. The vast majority of packets are asynchronous.
The rubberbanding you saw in the video is the proof. (Certainly someone playing somewhere else than korea)

Overall, the game is alright I think, but nothing special. I wish to see the future updates to decide whether this game is worth my time or not.
