INFINITE Money exploit, please GMs read THIS

If you get a “pending payment” status on a DLC, said DLC is available to be used until you get a cancellation status. That way, IMC’s server receives a “paid” flag, even though it’s not paid for. That’s what people are exploiting, by making several fake accounts and getting TP/benefits from them, then transfering to a main account. What’s so hard to understand?

You would leave a negative steam review because IMC did the right thing and Fixed a one month old game economy to save the longterm health of the game?

Big picture people, a wipe on 200+ hours of gameplay is alot better than people getting 2000hours of gameplay silver/items for exploiting and a ruined economy.

I don’t think Steam is responsible for this exploit.
IMC accepted the risk by agreeing to do business with Steam and should have known how the payment processing work.
IMC should have confirmed payment before delivering the package.

IMC, you guys have same serious internal control issue here…

Until now I could only receive what I purchased after the payment confirmation. Including DLC.

If IMC’s server receives a paid status, then and that actually happens, it’s IMC’s problem regarding their game, and not something blatantly obvious about the payment method itself.

Brazilians exploit mmos? NO WAY

By the way, this kind of thing actually is called Fraud and punishable by law( and it does happen in North America)

The problem with Brazil is that the Fraud/Cybercrime laws are such a joke that people don’t even think twice about doing something like defrauding IMC of profit to exploit a video game.

I am not xenophobic by any means, but these are the facts.

Infinite attention whore

@kphfreitas
I see that you didn’t handle the pressure… Well, I can’t blame you…
It’s not like imc showed us that they take fixing all theses bugs to heart…
Now, let’s see what the future has in store for us

What is wrong with you people? He’s trying to help fix this broken game zzzzzzzz

Ban every single exploiter.
Please.

Given that it happened to other games on Steam, I’d venture this is Steam’s problem - but not the payment method’s, since it’s possible to get a “pending” status with other methods.

This exploit was VERY popular back in 2014, one would think it would be already fixed by now.

You are not being xenophobic by stating the truth, brazilian laws are a joke. You would be if you said Brazilians were *** or **** because they abused it (like if giving free tp exploit to other players, no one would abuse)

No I would leave a negative review because IMC can’t do anything properly.
Game released without servers, bad reviews, ops not yet, now its released but you have to pay. (Also some ppl say its beta but it’s not market on steam as such)
Terrible communication.
Ton of bugs. Like a LOT.
Dungeon instances still not working, queue for 50 min and maybe maybe you get in after a lot of dcs/resets.
Ton of bugs.
Poor performance/lags/spammers (stupid chat coding)
Bots/sellers (now explained by this exploit)
Restrictions in game, sort of pay to progress, buy silver through token/scroll.
No regional severs from the start, they created them after long long beating from their customers, still they fought back till the last minute to not do so.
No GMs ingame. Would cost money duh.
Allegedly they knew about this exploit long time ago.
That’s only from top of my head so yeah.

Solely in a game level, what is the difference between fraud tokens and regular tokens? In both cases the silvers spent on tokens were earned by players. No new currency was created.

It’s an early access… Have you EVER seen an early access without bugs?
I agree there are problems, but the game is fun to play, they are patching often and In just a few weeks they’ve made big moves like giving people the report button for example.

That move alone can take months on some games.
