Increase damage of archer, wizard, to compare to swordsman

I think it does make sense how mage and archers would deal less damage than swordsmans for their basic atks.
I dont like having to kite bosses all the time, but that’s what long range characters do.
A slight increase would be appreciated, but not to be on par with melee characters.

As for SP and skills, i dont see it as a problem too much. I tend to keep skills only for high value situations like CC. Which does work for me (lvl30), basic atk 90% of the time.

Yeah, like i said, imo the wiz basic attack should scalate with INT stats, but its not implemented, only increase based on weapon damage, and thats what make wiz a disliked class, but when you get some more skills you barely rely on the basic attack but on counterpart you rely more on SP pots.

Circle 2 cryo 1 ele here with less than 10 pts total invested in con/spirit.
I wouldnt go as far as to say that cryo dps is like wiz. Its somewhat better. But the catch is that cryo skillz are either good or plain terrible. In addition, going cryo wont give you an edge in later classes prob with the exception of psycho.

Good skills:
Ice spike for example is what I consider a good skill. Ice wall too. Ice bolt costs way too much sp, (~72 w/ 3overheat at 10/15) but can be left at 1/15 for purpose of freezing.

Trash skills:
Ice blast, on the otherhand, 1. has weak damage, 2. unfreezes enemies almost immediately (which defeats the purpose of freezing), 3. has very low aoe, 4. works only in the direction youre facing, and 5. is unspammable (not that I want to spam it). Subzero shield is completely broken and appears to do nothing different at higher levels except cost more sp. Gust is like a warrior’s knockback skill, but 5x weaker and smaller aoe area. As you can see, these qualities make cryo circle 2 completely useless, and youre left upgrading the original ice spike and wall. All in all, forget about cryo2 skills - if they actually fixed ice blast so that it froze nearby enemies instead of unfreezing, cryo would have much more respectable dps.

I used to think going ele after cryo was a good idea since ele had electrocute and lots of ice-based skills. But it turns out electrocute had a ~2.5s total cast time and youre completely immobile while casting. Like who thought that was a good idea? The characteristics of electrocute is much like earthquake and ice spike. So why not make the casting time as short as that. Even prominence is near insta-cast. That skill sucks though cause it never hits anything. So as ele 1 youre left with that ice rain skill and stone curse. Though stone curse isnt really worth investing early on because it takes like 4 seconds to pull it off looool.

Yeah the way the class is right now its a shame because imo all the skills, even from wiz basic tree are good, its just that this thing of not gaining bonus damage from INT stats is a total miss and make the class weak.

I wonder if some cast timer stats will be added later on, if thats the case it would make sense, but as of now, that kind of thing make the class completely party dependant or unless you can freeze all of the monster pack or boss to be able to cast it.

Surespell for c2 wizard should be an attribute for reflect shield and perhaps prevent knockdown/stun while active.

A good c2 skill would be something that helps sp regen, or usage reduction, or a buff that helps other mages do more damage like magic amplication/aoe attack ratio.

Energy bolt full charge should be able to overkill, but has no chance since it has 2 hits.

Magic missile targeting needs to be worked on. If you’re out of range it will just shoot in random directions. Maybe make them rotate around you until you get close enough and then they shoot off towards the enemy idk.
