Increase Class Exp slightly?

I know current CBT is having x3 exp boost. From what I observe… the base exp rate is okay but the class exp is a bit too slow? I cant imagine how would the x1 exp normal rate when obt comes. I can and I am happy to grind because its quite fun but repeative action for one whole day isn’t fun at all. I have grinded for 1~2 hour and the class exp seems like just increased 10%~20%? :joy:

The rate is x3 now… means if I do the same for obt… it would be 3%~9% in 1 to 2 hour depends on the crowd in the channel… = = which is really sucks… I am just around level120 and currently rank4.

This game is not RO-like, which gives us more choices to grind at different places. Due to the semi-quest based, the quest are guiding you which map to level seems to be fixed. You have no choice but to grind the same map over and over again.

Pif… This game has like… at least 400 base levels or more, and up to at least rank 9 for class… I wonder how long it would take to level in obt…

Lets say I work at morning and only able to play at night. Given that atmost I play for 4 hours per day, wew… it will take me few months just to reach rank 6 lol… :scream:

Exp needed for leveling the class is fine. It’s just that the grinding part of the game is just not rewarding enough compared to exp scrolls. Especially in early levels it takes way too long to grind a level. Considering even level 200 is still very early game when max level will possibly be ~600. I don’t want to grind 10 hours for one level this early in the game. And this is at 3x exp.

Personally I think grinding a level should not take more than 3hrs (peak/max) at those high levels. I mean. 3hrs of continuous play is a bloody long time to sit in front of a screen and mash buttons/keys.

What “high” levels are you talking about? I don’t have a problem with hour long grinds at high levels. but 200 is far away from high level

I think this 3x level rate should be the normal rate. I don’t want to be bound to only one character during my entire life.

Besides, one more thing is the class/rank, a special job change system in this game will lead to another problem, which is almost impossible to have class reset scroll for future use. I cannot imagine how it works for a class reset since the level cap is reset every 15 levels. And there are so many choices for job changing and mixing. Even in this cbt, the free reset is only for stats and skills. Well why I mention this is because…

The exp rate is kinda low as i said. So example lets say you level until 200 and you feel that your builds does not work out well. It will take you few months to replay another character again. Even you have cash also wont save your @ss and you gonna level all over again just to catch up your friends… so… 200 levels hmm… 2 months in normal exp rate? lol… RIP party mates and real life friends that play together with you. Goodbye my comrades. We will never meet again :joy:

i think its ok because u shouldnt reach max lvl in a week and then cry about no end content.
u have to play months and years to reach max lvl.

Im not the fan just to grind but the dungeon grinds and boss fights with a party sounds fun for me and i hope it will work like i imagine this :slight_smile:

i didnt played a lot now because i dont have the time now, but i stuck with my lvl 37 krivis solo grind at chapel because im only using my 30sec cd spell to kill enemys, full int spec, and my auto attk deals no dmg and thats hard to grind. so i hope there will be lucrative partys

I already dislike the skill and stat reset. So I hope a class reset will never happen. You just have to plan your character before you play him. If you still don’t like him, well it happens

I leveled up to 168 where I got stuck.
In my opinion they just need to lower the drastic exp requirement curve they currently have,did you take a look at the charts ? it’s horrifying.

Up until level 135 or so it seems more or less okay,yeah I had to grind at around 125-130 and then hit the instance,but it didn’t seem like that hardcore,the grind at 160 is several times worse I’d say.
If you’ve used all the experience cards and did all the quests you could and you’re at like 160,gl m8…gl

jeez, i don’t man, what if one day they nerf ur class so bad and your class look like piece of sh1t. But hey, that’s is not my problem . After all, you waste like what? 3-4 months to level up until 200? Cheers.

Classes get nerfed all the time. What did you do in other games when that happened? You either had to accept it or roll another class.

they should sell it for money so u have to think about your class and if u fail u have to pay for it.
i think if they patch a class very hard they should give u the option to respec, because the other way were to unfair.

The problem is that you can only grind for exp. We don’t have any other ways to level up, and the map count is extremely limited. You WILL spend lv 35~50 in Chapel, with little to no variation. You WILL stay on Mausoleum for 75~100 with slight deviations to do quests on other maps. As it is now, we only have one or two maps for every level range, and that’s not even mentioning the 1 Channel problem past lv 60.

Dungeons come on lvs 50, 90, 130 and 170. This means you can level with dungeons through lvs 50~60, 90~100, 130~140 and 170~180. There are gaps of 30 lvs inbetween where you have to purely grind after you end your quests. This is a bit too much to do with the current exp system, even in 3x rates, and we have the skyrocketing required exp past 135 ■■■■■■■ you over.

Oh, and bosses? They’re mostly main quest bosses, with some side quest ones every map, with bad EXP rewards and can only be fought once. We don’t have a decent Boss Mode or repeatable set of boss quests, so “grinding boss fights” is just doing the normal quests, nothing more. You can’t even re-fight a boss if you wanted more exp.

Oh ok didnt realized that, because im just new to the game and didnt get so much infos about it.
I will hope that imcgames is listen to players like you and some others who played alot and tested all the stuff.
maybe they will release some stuff to make the grind much funnier for players. i can grind a lot but it have to be lucrative to players and give them the feeling that they reached something.

If they dont do this the game will die in weeks like every other “wannabe” mmo game that want to get establish on the big game market.

well too bad to tell you there is sure stat and skill reset in cash shop. Since this game is free to play they will need these to earn money.

I agree that you should have planned well for your character. (most people did it anyway) but just one example, one day your character reached rank 6, and turned out you realize your rank 6 does not fit well or work well with your previous ranks and this makes your later life really hard. You gonna replay a whole character which already reach level 200? Level 200 in normal rate you probably need around 3 months. Lets say you have a group of reality friends playing with you. You think they will stop playing for 3 months to wait for you? The gap is way too long to chase up anymore, which will discourage players from continue playing it. (anyhow this is an example that might happens to someone in future)

I will not mind the nerf if they did not change too much. Nerf means a class being too strong. Just a skill reset given if there is a big change will do for me.

I know the exp chart. I think they should just lower the increasing peak portion or just make it all whole flat. Why? From my observation in this cbt, maps around the “lower/easier” exp part is very less people. While when you reach the “peaking/increasing” exp part, god d@mn the map are full of people grinding and the channel are so full! Everyone is stucking around the levels lol! :scream: not to mention cbt only have 1 channel.

No no. Lol… I never thought want to reach level cap in a week. Even a month I will accept it. Eh… not really… even takes me 3 months to cap it I will be ok. But no. Reality is way too worse than you imagine. If you checked the world map, there is level 470+ maps, and its not the end. In this cbt, we gain x3 exp rate by default. From cbt start until now, I play casually (few hours per day?) and in this 3 weeks I have reached level 120 / rank4. How if its back to normal exp rate? Ok, our exp cut into 1/3. I will have to take more than 2 months to reach level120. Man you need 6 months to reach around level300~400. In this 6 months your daily TOS life is just grinding the same map over and over again! Yes! Thats it! Lol :joy: FML…

Sorry for write so long. Just want to express my thoughts. No offense in my opinion, just discussion.

I agree with you. they should just import some dailys/reapeatable quest, u grind the same map but get some xp cards if u finish a quest, dungeon grinds with nice boss fights should also be implented and give u some xp if u beat them. i thought it will be this way. but now im realizing that isnt like i imagine :smile:

i also dont need to reach max lvl in few weeks or months but i dont want to grind, like u said, for weeks the same map and same monster to get a lvl up.
there should be more options to get lvl ups.
I personally think its a west world problem, koreans play a lot of grind games over and over, and we get bored if we have to grind same map over hours/days/weeks.

I not sure they will implement daily repeatable quests or not. But currently there are very few repeatable quests for you to do it. The awkward thing is that these quests can repeat for 5 or 10 times in one go, and after its done… means no more. :sweat: its not refreshed or reset daily… lol.

Believe me buddy. Soon the economic in this game will be broken very soon…erm not sure its considered broken but due to the low exp rate and everyone progress slowly, I think the equipments put in market will be super cheap due to too much of grinding over the same places. LOL… :laughing:

It would be kinda nice if we could just play the 1 character and learn all classes/jobs.

Then allow us to freely reselect rank orders and redistribute skills so we can play w/e build we like. I do not want to create multiple characters. :S

They need to make alteast x10-15 for class level, it’s sooo annoying to grind 0.001 from mob + w\o any quests and 1 channel. Quest system kinda broken.
