Hey my amazing people! I am currently creating a team of helpful individuals that are willing to sacrifice a little time in helping people on the forums. I know that such people do exsist but some people don’t want to post a question since they think it’s stupid or dumb, this will give them a chance to private message us on the question and we can help the individual out in a discrete manner. If you are interested in joining the force, contact me here or through message with your name, why you want to help and a little about yourself. Thanks~

I wouldn’t mind helping out. I’m always on the forums anyway, even at work. So might as well be productive. Lol.

Is this recognized by the IMC staff or is this some kind of voluntary work? If not, I just think it’s not much of a difference since anyone in the forums can freely answer people’s questions. Just my thoughts tho.

This is completely volunteer work at the moment, but we are unaware of what it could become. You are correct, this is not completely necessary but in saying that I’ve received an overwhelming amount of questions that I have successfully helped out with, so there are some people that feel like they don’t want to post there concerns but rather ask privately.

Its nice to do this too, i do too help and answer when possible, i pass here everyday at least 3 times (morning, noon and night) to check, but i dont compromise anything, i answer when i can answer and discuss ideas also.

And about ppl being affraid to ask, i dont know why is that, its a doubt you have so why not ask? But its more safe to do a quick serch on forums to see if your question is already answered on another topic.

Probably social anxiety. I should know since I’m diagnosed with it. But I try my best to overcome it whenever I can. :stuck_out_tongue: So I understand how they feel.

Yeah, there is that too, and unfortunately, some here are a bit on the edge even to talk to others, and they just blurt out their rage and stupidity out just because thei feel like it lol.

Well as long as i see people messaging me for help, i will continue to help them, i’m only making a team because the amount of questions i receive is now overwhelming.

To be honest, though your heart might be in the right place. I think people answering questions in view of the forum is a better way to do it. Rather than a private message group thing. When the info is out there for everyone to see, it benefits everyone and that info is also open to peer review to insure it’s actually accurate.

I can’t really imagine a person being too embarrassed to ask a question on the forum, but even if they were… The more Q&A visable to everyone, the more information there is to search through to find answers without having to actually start threads ect.

If you really really want to help the community, get a group togeather and start making game guides! THAT is something we really could use! Where to level, what starting gear for your class. Tactics. Builds… All that stuff.

I don’t think you understand what social anxiety means, it does not mean to be embarrassed to post something it means the thought of asking a question is so frightening that they rather ask someone privately. I’ve also experienced being harassed on a post I had put up because it was too similar to a post that was made like a month ago. There are many reasons why this team will help the community and I also have plans for the team in the future, it will also include public posts, it’s not a team that revolves around private messages, that’s just an option if the person is too shy or has anxiety.
