It’s sad I know but you should get used to it. Nothing will ever change. The best thing to do is block the person and move on. Don’t even waste your effort with these type of people. Like…this is the internet you should know by now how shitty people are.

You did everything right and… well… 7 day ban is quite low for such damage. 30 days to permament would be better.
Anyway, I think report(ticket), block that useless guy and move on would avoid that 30 days witch hunt.

In some western countries, he would be put instantly in prison.
For example, police will start to call IMC, and if IMC refuses to cooperate they’ll call the highest court, and finally punish IMC and the dude.

IMC cares of what is in-game. What happens irl or fb its not their problem. But you should at least add prints to base your accusation.

This is serious. This could be a child and send real nudes because they think he is just a friend.
It’s unaceptable how the reporting system works now. So slow and uncomfortable.
We need a FAST reporting system. A in-game mechanism that allows players to report inmediatly abuses. We -the community and devs- cannot accept those harmful attitudes.
Please, do not wait to another case like this, next time could be worse.
Let’s take care of the great people who make this a real nice community.

I’m glad you posted it on the forum. Not just so IMC finaly did something about it, but also as a warning for others. Sadly the world got plenty of creeps, and nothing will ever improve if we don’t expose them. Staying quiet is the worst way to deal with them.

They NEED a faster response time though? There’s already the fabled ticket system. This was an already reported problem they sat on only until this person posted publicly in the general forums. Biggest problem is they don’t do anything for days, weeks, months, years until someone over boils the pot like the in game crash command.

While the documentation looks good, the fact that multiple tickets were used is small but enough of a factor to create a delay. Referencing while easy can be a bit tedious and given this system, I doubt they can consolidate ticket requests.
Incidents like these are best handled with a long explanation with supporting screenshots and repeated warnings should a “threat” take place. It may take days to compile it all together, but once presented, leaves only one check by the assigned GM if it is truly serious. That is confirming chat logs. Once that is verified, justice will be served (do note it can go both ways).
I only speak this in experiencing it on both sides of the coin, finding one of my guild members in another MMO, and personally. Just be happy that the offender didn’t take it to another level.

Their support staff is under manned. They have a language barrier and aside from the few select staff here on the forums who handle issues they ignore a lot of problems with generic copy and paste responses. There’s so many other things that it can’t be blamed on players not following proper protocol. Problems get ignored for such a long period of time the only way they actually respond is to do something so drastic they give a knee jerk response.
One example is people not getting their TP for weeks at a time. The response time return on average is way too slow because they create so many problems what little staff they have can’t even keep up. That is their own fault too for not having adequete staff for this market.
