I’d like to make an open report agaisnt the player Duaki, who have been sexually harrasing me on [SA]Silute server, and how IMC doesnt do much against harassment.
First of all, i don’t speak english or portuguese very well.
I was thinking if i should post this on the forum, or not. To be honest, i was afraid of “what the people would say” but something happened today, and i don’t care anymore. I don’t think i deserve this, i think no one deserves this…i’m sure, more of one person lives this in this game, but i really want to let them know and think, IMC do something for the people who lives and suffer from this?
I don’t do it only for myself, i do it for all who suffers from this.
I used to make jokes and fun with Duaki, but on 2016-11-16 after i joke with him, he started to become more agressive with me, as you can all see on the following printscreens. Just to make things clear, we were not friends.
He started to say really agressive things, asking me nudes and linking fake porn websites with my nickname on shout chat, completely ignoring what people would think of that, knowing that no one would do anything against him because, you know, “man always do this, he must be just playing with you, its not a big deal, no one is going to take him serious, you can just block him and/or ignore him” But guess what, you can’t simply ignore and let it happen when he actually goes deeper and find your real life name and use it against you.

I decided, then, to make a ticket and report him, but i had to create another account to do so.

2016-11-29, two weeks after the first ticket, a GM meeting happens, i asked GM Peach “What IMC thinks about harass?” and the GM “well, the harass…” and kept like 30 seconds thinking, before answering, and then i say “The sexual harass” and Peach says “Oh…well, my collegue GM Durian will whisper you”.
I explained my case, she looked at the ticket, and said “yes we have your tickets and he already have 7 days muted”.
And… thats it. That’s all that IMC could do at the moment, 14 days for a 7 days mute on a sexual harassment report. It doesnt seem they care much about it, thinking that muting someone would be a fitting measure for thing kind of situation. As if they were punishing someone for using bad words, and not actually for toxic behavior.
On 2016-12-09, after his mute finishes, he sends me this via whispers : “Go suck Myz’s ■■■■, tell him to get out of the pc and put his ■■■■ on you, show your big tits your fat slut” "Tell myz to take his tired ■■■■ from the pc and fo ■■■■ you, you slut"
He didnt stopped then, he kept stalking me
On 2016-12-27 he finds out my real life name, and decides to shout it, just to let me know that he knows it now.
So i send a third ticket, and this is their answer:
And i keep sending them more ticket, to know what happened to the last ticket i sent, and this was their answer, they havent done anything since then.
2017-01-17 , after a guild war, he and his friends decided to mock me by calling me fat, and saying on the last printscreen “report, oohhh i’m so scared”. And that was what make me decide to post this on the forums.
It’s been more than a month, IMC didn’t did anything after that, while the guy who kept sexually harassing me goes unpunished, sticking with his friends to mock me about how IMC didnt and don’t do anything against those kind of people, and i’m sure i’m not the only one who passes through this on this game.
I want everyone to know what Duaki does, because IMC isn’t doing much about it, i’m tired of passing through this, and feeling like i can’t play this game properly because people attack me and aren’t punished. Feeling like i don’t know what to do when someone goes to find out my real life name, and keep harassing me.
And i hope that, with that, other people also have strenght and courage to report the people who makes them feel like i feel right now, and maybe IMC do something about it, and give them the punishment they deserve for threatening us with lies and other awful thing.
Will people keep closing their eyes and do nothing about those things, when they happen in shout chat? Will their friends continue to help them ‘making fun of’ victims, even after they know what they are doing? Will IMC keep treating those people like children using bad words, and muting them, instead of actually punishing them? Until when, people will keep standing by and watching those things happen in front of them, and do nothing to help the victims, and in worst case scenario, helping them creating a more toxic community without acknowledging that their 'jokes’and passivity actually sustain those kind of behavior?
I’m sick of this, already.
