In-Game Clock to reflect Region's Time-Zone

Now since that SEA server is currently under maintenance i think i would like to point out some problems that could be more of gameplay issue for everyone else rather than just a calculation on what time we are getting server maintenance and such.

  1. Dungeon reset timings
This is an obvious point to many of you. However, i would like to point out why this is sort of a problem. Currently dungeons reset on all servers on EDT 0600HRS. for the SEA region, its 1800HRS on that same day. Why this is a problem is because this timing is right where the peak period begins. This inherently leads to the server getting more loaded with people trying to clear dungeons, both casual players that just got home from work/school and hardcore players that camps for the dungeon to reset entry.

  2. Guild Event - Protect the Goddess
As far as i know, there is an event at EDT 2000HRS to 2020HRS that guild members can attend. And because of the the time zone difference this is early morning where most of the people are going to work or school, the rest either have the day off, currently unemployed or sleeping.

Currently these 2 are the only ones i can think that affects the playerbase other than counting the difference in time by adding 11-13hours.

If anyone else want to contribute to problems faced due to the timezone clock, i would like to hear it as well so that i can put it up here on concerning matters.

I would also like to hear opinions from everyone, even those that come here to bait comments and eat popcorn for a living.

Thank you for your kind attention. EleGiggle .

I agree with OP. Its really awkward to have our resets in the middle of the day (6pm at gmt+8). Also, the guild missions mentioned is rarely done by anyone due to the deserted timing (or our school/sleeping time). I believe that a change in the timezone (to the local time) will help more guild members participate in these events. I suggest the gmt+8 time be used for both sea servers as the location is in Singapore, also the sea servers’ members consists largely of Singapore and Malaysia players. (I estimate 70%). Hopefully imc will consider this =D

There are some quests that only appear at certain times of the day.
(not everyone’s gonna be up at 1am local time to do a quest)

Would really appreciate regional ingame/server times like central european time for the EU server.

+1 for OP

the reset should be based on the server’s local time

This got no answer? Does one have to to @ the staff or what?
