Tree of Savior Forum

@IMCGames & Staff You should never

…accommodate intolerance towards people’s race, gender, ethnicity, sexuality, disability, age, language, national origin, color, creed, or anything else that makes people “different” from others.

I say this to you not as a complainer but as a person who is testing your beta and didn’t even care to notice the other languages flashing across my screen. My thoughts were “oh, they’re speaking a language I don’t understand-welp, back to enjoying my laggy quests.”

This is a very very slippery precedent you guys have manufactured however, I understand it stems from your desire to make Tree of Savior an amazing game that everyone can enjoy! Reconsider the Latin American server idea.

seriously…lets not

With the #'s they have gotten in response to an open invite to a closed beta, I’m sure there will regional servers upon official release.

However, what I do not like seeing is a majority of HUEHUEHUE fly across my screen at the top. Especially if I’m trying to learn from people who are actually posting information via yell. Of course there are many other spam words used, but HUEHUEHUE was the most apparent one.

Why? Well just look at league of legends and Dota 2 and any Free to play MMORPG and you will have your answer.

IMC should have a volunteer GM for each local language and have them moderate inappropriate behavior for each language. I’m sure plenty would volunteer for limited GM powers, as original RO had as well. Inb4 muh no ro comparison to ToS, but realize that similar developers means similar admin tools.

Why wouldn’t you want your own latin america server where you can get decent ping? Seems like you just don’t want to play with your fellow South Americans.

You’re the intolerant one. For shame.

Who even said the server would be located in an area that would provide low ping for Latin Americans Players?

I thought the same thing, then someone randomly walked up to me requesting a “friendly duel” and then said something in Portuguese I think. I put it in google translate and it came out to be something like “rollover my ass”. I wasn’t sure if he was taunting me or asking me to roll over his ass, whatever that means. Translate doesn’t recognize some words.

It will, they said it.
