IMC, you should be ALOT more worried about the issues on this no dungeon reset bug

I am playing with someone who is new to ToS and that person is benefitting from recruitment event. I myself is a returnee (founder).

What do we see though? We can’t do dungeons because there’s no reset. I know this is already under your radar but this has been going on for quite some time already as if fixing it is very low priority.

This is not appealing at all. I feel like I made a very huge mistake getting back into the game just to see that the game still has so much persisting problems.

I wanted to voice out abit more but I think my other rants should be for another time. For now, please, save your own game.

Everybody (including and especially IMC) should realize by now that there will always be bugs and that the root of all problems is how they respond and act on situations like this.

It doesn’t matter if bugs eventually gets fixed. The problem is the system - or most probably the lack thereof - of addressing setbacks.

Hello, @Dream

We are working very very hard to repair the dungeon reset issue. It is in fact a top priority. We ask for your patience and understanding.
In the meantime, please submit a ticket for compensation.

Thank you!

There are only two things to do in tree of savior.

We can’t do dailies because they don’t reset.

We cant farm items because the drop system is bugged.

How are we supposed to play the game

Why won’t you revert the changes made that caused this in the 1st place? People have been telling you it started when you people changed the reset time. You have flat out refused to revert the changes made on that day.

Don’t know how perfect your life is to think that you’ve somehow stumbled into a pit of no return. This isn’t accidentally dropping a baby off a cliff, this is just not running a few dungeons.

They should add " For everyday we do not fix this, we will provide you with a superior dungeon reset voucher with no expiration date "

Curious: Does this only affect new characters? All 3 of my characters have been getting their daily resets just fine, yet I made a new character who just hit 50 last night. I did 2/3 dungeon runs before 6am. Today I find that he’s still at 2/3 dungeon runs.

So… thoughts?

If it wasn’t obvious enough, as a founder, I have experienced already tons of problems with Tree of Savior on it’s EA and OBT start. I even made a long feedback before quitting enlisting almost all the problems I had with IMC and ToS in a wall of text. Taking these into context, I’m not overreacting. It definitely is a huge mistake getting back into the game where some old problems never gotten fixed and some new persisting problems arised showing more of IMC’s incompetence.

So drop the condescending attitude if you don’t know anything.

No it seems to happen at random (I haven’t made any new characters recently but 2 of them have missed the reset)

Try again next time whiteknight.

Yeah running a few dungeons that might be crucial in a smooth leveling experience. You might be fine with it but not everyone else. Nobody gives a sht about talking real life here. It’s all about gaming experience. Take it somewhere else.

I mean… I could change my terms if you like.

This isn’t accidentally dropping a baby off a cliff

This isn’t accidentally building a toon up to c7 to prepare for c8 release, but when c8 releases your c7 toon becomes irrelevant. [/quote]
Was just trying to illustrate that the reaction is greatly exaggerated.

My point still stands. There’s no exaggeration and the way you change your point doesn’t even come close to the first one nor it even connects to the persisting problem. It’s Dreamy’s opinion/perception as to how much this affects gameplay thus a deciding factor whether or not the game is even viable to play. Months ago, there was like 2 week or so of excessive dungeon error which made huge halts on everyone. Your point is that this is just a dungeon run. Well this is also just a game also that people are free to play or quit whenever they choose to. Meh, if this doesn’t get to you, I don’t know will. Have a good day

I didn’t change my point. Logging into ToS et al does not translate into, what you and Dream might call, making a big mistake. In the case of Dream, it’s more like “oh yeah, woops. I forgot I don’t like this game”.

Pick one:

You do not have to play > They do not have to fix anything.

Both things are not obligations. This is your whole argument in a nut shell and silly.

I made no mention on whether IMC is or should be fixing anything. IMC has been doing as IMC does. Assuming that IMC would not act as IMC, even after any amount of time, is silly. If you know how IMC acts, and what their priorities are, if you were not fine with IMC before, you will not be fine with IMC now.

As far as this goes:

you also don’t have to stick your foot in the mud then complain to everyone else on the forums that you stuck your foot in the mud.

I am agreeing with exactly that. You at some point come to terms with either they do not have to fix anything and you do not have to play the game. Pretty simple logic because nothing else in between matters since there is no obligation either way.

Sure, yeah, I have a very good idea on how IMC tends to treat certain issues and am ok with waiting for a reiteration on their part. Even if the reiteration causes added problems or doesn’t work at all.

to add:
To anyone who wants to act like this is an incredibly serious matter that they hated the game, left, then returned:
If you already made the decision to leave the game and/or the forum entirely because some aspect, about the game or it’s development (or the development team), made you feel like you were suffering, why reinvite that suffering. If it sucks so much, don’t come back. Plenty of other games out there.
