IMC! What is hidden passive and what is bug? Make it crystal clear. Or fuck you

So, cleric skill “Fade” isn’t working the way it was working before.
Fade was a skill that was giving you immunity to magic circle and ground skills. It wasn’t written in the skill description. Any basic attack would hit you, or physical skills, that are not aoe ground damage.

What about Priest’s Blessing and Cleric’s Heal? It’s not written in the description that your blessed heal hits twice.

So, what about Ranger’s Barrage and Rogue’s Feint. Barrage hits twice someone that are debuffed with Feint. This ■■■■ isn’t written in any place of the entire game!

What about Linker’s Joint Penalty and Wizard’s Magic Missile? It’s not written in the description that mobs are going to get obliterated with overwhelming damage. Magic missile hits about 9x more damage.

Man… why whould you touche in Fade mechanics? Hey IMC do you want a skill to fix/ change mechanics?
Here:

Magnetic force is a Bug. With a passive that occasionally sustains its “cc” permanently.

What about Catapharct’s Rush? “Twirl your spear overhead to attack enemies.” It’s not in the description of the skill that every hit of Rush can interrupt others players Skill’s animations, making impossible to then to cast, even instant cast, habillities.

Let’s talk about Chronomancer’s Stop. "Stops time of monsters within the targeted area. Enemies do not receive damage when time is stopped."
Enemies do not receive damage right?
Well… Icewall, Flame Ground and more can ■■■■ up Enemies.

And there is so much more…
You could even be helpful and make a list of what skills Shinobi’s Bunshin no Jutsu can replicate.

And what skills can be used with Burrow.

Peltasta’s Swash Buckling:
"Hit your shield to provoke nearby enemies making them pursue you."
You can use this with a Dagger.

It’s not in the description, but it’s in the required stances.
There is so much more bugs… Sage’s Micro Dimension and more!

In this game you have to waste too much time testing things. Trying to understand its entire bugged mechanics. And when you think you know something comes IMC and ■■■■ up Fade skill. Lazy ass company.

If im not mistaken this one was changed, so probably safe to call this one a bug.

Yeah, noticed that golem is hitting me with AoEs in Fade. RIP Fade.

I think what you probably want is just a functioning wiki… that lists the crazyness of skills… like PoE has.

not to be a negative nancy but id say 95% of skills dont say what they do fully

Yes, I need a wiki, skill formulas! Demonstrations.
If IMC can’t fix the game, at least could give us a test realm.

I’ve heard rumors of a test realm months ago. But I assume it’s NDA.

It would be nice if Flash read this thread and thought it was a good idea at least wiki mode the class section. Tosbase is getting beat by their competitor http://tos.neet.tv at least for displaying formulas on spells.


I know Grinding Gears dev’s even called PoE wiki a resource the team used to help keep track of skill interactions.

Their wiki was fantastic. I mean just look at how detailed the description is for fireball. http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Fireball includes all those interactions…

Wouldn’t you kill someone for a wiki like that for ToS? Or at least punch a baby or poke a giraffe with a 10ft pole.

Bonus elemental and blessing damage procs: 1 per hit

Attributes: Burn attribute increases skill cooldown. Burn
damage = 100% of your INT per sec. Burn debuff works on bosses.

Hidden effects: Fireballs can be buffed (no effect). Fireballs can be
Linked. Damaging linked fireballs will damage the enemy. Detrimental: Fireballs can hit other fireballs and waste their AoE attack ratio. Especially once you have more than 4 fireballs this fireball-fireball self destruct effect becomes more apparent. Ally spells will hit fireballs and waste AoE attack ratio. Blood sucking on fireballs will regen your HP (removed).

Skill Synergies: Fireballs can be duplicated by Sage Micro
Dimension. Link fireballs to enemies and joint penalty to pull them together.
Scout split arrow on 2 Linked fireballs and boss, etc. Fireballs linked to
enemies + broom trap will knock them around. Fireballs can be Swapped and
Telekinesed (Psychokino) and get picked by Snow Rolling
(Cryo3). Psychic Pressure + fireball will make the fireball shoot out flames
into the cardinal directions and ordinal directions. Flame damage is equal to your fireball damage (and your magic attack). Physic Pressure will slowly knock the fireball out of rangeunless they are next to a solid object. Duplicated by sage micro dimension attribute, duplication will be equal to original. Does not get removed by taoist rain and elementalist rain.

See grey you already started parts of this. We just need to get a website and get all of the science nerds together. I’ve love to contribute for the classes I play. I could do videos for all the necro strangeness. @Flash give us a wiki. We love you and we already got people dieing to make this happen.

Someone told me about tos wiki owner and messaged me however I haven’t heard since. I saw some players on tosbase working on a wiki though.

Surprisingly a lot of players document skill data and interactions on vids. I have finished all wiz class skills except new r8. Part of clerics and archer too. Very little on swordie, cannot get interested. I discontinued. Cannot format (right now it is a bunch of text+images and files), handling videos is annoying, and do not have any way to test skills anymore.

Skills keep changing too, and patched. Difficult to keep track.

It would be easiest if devs would release info though. Saves a lot of time.

Every hit of rush inflicts stagger, so it is mitigated completely by pain barrier.

This will be highly unlikely. Most games don’t release hidden interactions at all and the devs made it that way so players can “have the joy” in finding out these hidden combos.

We have to rely pretty much on the community to test out, consolidate the information into a wiki.

Dont expect too much from IMC… Its a lazy company who only wants cash form IToS so they can fund their KToS counter part and ToS mobile.

At least some chinese MMO’s games have this feature of having unlimited skill/stats reset and it only use game currency, I really wish we have at least some testing servers to fully test skill/mechanics etc… mehh… but its…IMC… :expressionless:

The problem with that is… What is a hidden interaction and what is a bug? If devs don’t say it, we may actually be exploiting a bug which will get fixed at some point

Well sometimes it is just the way it goes. In many of the games, a number of hidden, unintentional combinations and combos end up becoming the feature instead. I’m sure that devs will allow most of the hidden skill combinations and will only tweak those that tip the balance too much. (like JP+MM)

Some of the hidden interactions are clearly intentional. Like Psychic pressure + icewall/fireball. They have unique animations and is a true hidden combo.

Others like heal + blessing, heal + restoration, feint barrage are more vague. These are more likely intentional as they check for a specific buff/debuff when applying the additional hits or effects. An extra IF conditional statement in code is hard to categorise as a bug since it is more or less intentionally typed in.

As for Catapharct’s Rush… we all know that we can be interrupted when casting any skill, even when it is instant cast with no cast bar. Any skill that hits multiple hits in succession will be able to do that too.

Fade and Stop mechanics are plausible, not sure whether it is intentional or not though.

As for other skills like joint penalty + magic missile it is more of a balance fix rather than a bug. As you see the intent of joint penalty is to make single target attacks spread to become pseudo AOEs, but with way joint penalty is implemented, it makes aoe attacks deals significantly more damage due to the multiplicative effect of aoe * number of targets linked. This is why they balance it, not a bug fix.

Nope, you can freely cast heal, cure, safety zone, magic missile and alot more under basic attacks. Even under skill such as wugushi dots, cross cut, stabbing, cleave and it goes…
Point is: Rush can interrupt animations. Skills enter in cd but don’t land.

And jp mm. No other weak aoe multi hits ability obliterates mobs like this combo. It’s insta death.
When you use flesh cannon + jp, you can see that you are hitting like a truck. But mm jp? It’s ik. It’s just wrong.

jp+mm is a bug, they alreasy fixed in ktos
duno when it comes to itos

just normal cata rush without stun attribute n restrain, will this cancel insta cast skill as well?

i suspect the rush disturb animation from attribute n restrain
