@IMC, List of improvements

  • Mobs need to deal more damage, have more HP and better AI in exchange for less mobs per map, and way more xp rewards. To see a lvl 50 mob giving 30~50 xp and even less job xp is absurd.
  • Players have only 2 options right now, either kill a ton of mobs quickly as possible for hours or overkill every single one of them. (giving glass cannons builds advantages over tank, bruisers and support builds/jobs)
  • Make Minibosses and Bosses a big deal, less HP walls more intense fights. Make minibosses and bosses have way better ai and tracking, huge damage telegraphic skills, way less HP and absurd XP rewards or Item rewards. The way it is, is just annoying, takes way too long and doesn’t feel rewarding.

  • Make a viable economic system. To create a economic balance, you need something to control inflatuation and give players the sense of market value. My suggestion is to create a item with a small drop rate on every mob, this item can either give huge XP to Gems or be trade for another item capable of restore items’ potential or a anvil with better % of upgrading.
This same would be sold by a npc but for a absurd price, giving it a roof on it’s price tag. That way we always will have something players will want to buy it, and newbiews couldn’t affort to, but still can found it and sell it to gain some buying power, the item value will flow depending on how much is available, but never sky rocket due the npc selling it.

  • Bad idea, a lot of quests are “kill x amount of mobs” or “gather x amount of y from mobs” and people are already complaining about ksers, having even less mobs and them being more of a pain is just gunna lead to more frustrations. Plus quests > grinding any day.

-That’s not a suggestion, just an observation. And you could just you know, overkill a ton of mobs quickly.

-So regular mobs more hp but you want bosses to have less hp? You’re not really making any sense. And what is wrong with the AI? be a bit more specific, they track you fine, the only issue I’ve noticed is that they’re a bit slow and have big openings.

-What are you even on about with this one, I genuinely have no idea what you’re talking about. That’s not how you balance an economy, that’s how you inflate an economy. One random drop and suddenly you’re rich, how is that anything but inflation?

Overall I’d say only your boss having less health suggestion makes any sense. It is a bit too tough for the non-dps jobs or late bloomers.

All your complains are without counter arguments and you didn’t even try to understand the reason behind my suggestions.

  • Mobs with small amount of HP and in huge numbers means the devs can’t give them huge xp rewards otherwise would be way to easy to grind. Making them more dangerous and heathy means you couldn’t one shot a bunch of them and aggro a huge number of mobs could be your doom. That means griding would be more active and rewarding and less of a pain in the ass.

  • Boss with more letal skills that doesn’t take 120+ hits to kill would make boss fights fun and rewarding, with my char I can just stand in front of the boss hitting it with my Basic attack just taking every single skill he has until he dies, where’s the joy on that?

  • Without a method of control the market will be a mess forever, with players deciding how much something if worth, remember ragnarok where everything on market was at maximum tradable price…

you haven’t played iRO it seems if you think that about item value :3

Ehem!, I think he means less of this…

Ty man  u got it…

Bosses are supposed to withstand a party of 6+ characters, of course they have an large HP pool.

Dungeon’s bosses or Raid bosses maybe… But mostly of the bosses used as an example are solo bosses from quests.

#PS: And making it a HP sponge isn’t fun solo neither with 6+ party

What lvl are you? Im lvl 100+ atm and I hade to only grind lvl 77 - 80 which with good party on good spot was not that hard.

Only grinding i had to do…

Explore All the maps and do all quests! The main quests dont lead you to some of the 60 - 90 maps where is a loot of quests…

Once again I never realy had to grind to get there,
BTW at lvl 86 your exp table seem to reset and you get 86 - 100 in matter of few hours.

Job/Class exp is still very slow yes but max lvl is 500 what you expect?

Please explore game boses after lvl 60+ are way more fun and rewarding.
Please explore the game before you make low lvl asumptions

As a C3 Pyro I could solo take down some bosses in < 30secs (before my flame ground even disappeared). The hardest ones take maybe 3-5 minutes at most.

I think bosses should have more HP.

Got 2 character +120 and we’re running on a ++ xp rate for testing reasons, it’s our responsability to think about the future live server experience, not easy + xp cards freelo giveaway mode.

You’re only making my point Daenerys, your playstyle of glass-cannon make your experience easy and rewarding, while others aren’t enjoying as much.

Gitgud plz
