IMC incompetent

Yes I’m angry.
Come on man, why prepare lesser server capacity than number of sign up accounts. I don’t believe you IMC guys can’t calculate the predicted server capacity.
And after supporting your founder’s server all i get is infinite queuing at the login screen. How many times you want to disappoint the players.
If you can’t meet up to customer’s expectations, please hand over your project to some better company, or just stop this ■■■■ and shut down your company.

Sad but true. I’m usually a white knight, but THIS is way too much, way way too much… tsk tsk tsk

Queued in 1kish spot, patiently waited for 1hour plus to get in, only to be faced with an even more irksome lag; activating purifiers in Crystal Mines on average take up about 3 effin minutes, the heck with this. *sigh I’m usually on the cool, but of course everyone’s got a limit, so yeah, congrats cause you just pushed me into it.

Ah I hate this…entet a map to crash just so I can queue for more than 1hour and still going

the only good thing from all of this is that there will be EU server

At least there’s that, but I wonder if 15% off the populace really gonna matter for those who remain

As the chinese proverb says: Cry more.

It’s just the first day, they’ll do something.

@Staff_Julie, @STAFF_Ethan, @STAFF_John Here’s the part of me that’s hoping you’d prove us all wrong in the end…

you’ve been to cbt2? The only way it got fixed was because a hefty portion of the population left.

i dont think people left, as there were people who manage to tempoary fixed the problem via editing .xml files.

IMC patch the fixes later for those lazy enough to bother to research on the manual fix method.

Not true at all. Albion online launched with a single server for over 100,000 players and never once did it lag and the release was on time. The game was in Alpha too. Also practically every release for WoW has been smooth.

I hope you are kidding… i just hope it

I sure did, up to level 9x.

CBT2 was meant for server capacity testing purposes, even IMC declared that before releasing the testing server. Back at that time things were worse than it is right now, there’s just a logging queue going on.

I managed to play for a single hour today, then I had to go to work…being an adult sucks.

Holy ■■■■, I haven’t laughed this hard in ages. He MUST be kidding, I mean. I love me some WoW but not a single one of WoW’s releases have been smooth to this day.

Possibly he’s being optimistic regarding Blizzard as I am to IMC atm

I’ve never had to wait in a queue to access expansion content on day 1 of an expac release. Diablo 3 was the only game that I ever had to wait in and I own 5 Blizzard games.

Go look at the announcement about the EU server, they give a reason as to why this is happening.

Uhm…You must have played on a very dead server. Even as recent as Warlords of Draenor had queue timers. If I recall my server had a queue time of well over 6k and ontop of that, the Garrison’s were broken so you couldn’t even progress for well over a day!

Just to also prove a point, a super quick google:

oh and this:

If you really want I can find this stuff as well as thousands of posts of people crying for each expansion that WoW has had oh and also for vanilla.

Trust me, I got that time to prove you wrong and give everyone else someobody to laugh at.

As far as i know WoW initial release still has a place in history as “one of the worst mmo release ever”… for some people :stuck_out_tongue:
