What if they sell them and someone buys them?
What happens with the silver? What happens with the buyers items?
And you didn’t actually apply any restrictions since everyone can still log in as if nothing happened

The problem does not revolve around getting in next maintenance but who guarantees that the players who did not take advantage were left with these leftover items?
It is great that they have made a decision, but it may not be the most effective, it is worth remembering that “equality is not justice”

The SA server is now full of 315 purple boxes. Please, make the account with such items not able to trade or sell it, or you will never be able to fix the problem. Right now, everything is going really bad for the market economy.

A rollback would be easier and faster for server, after all it could be just importing some backup to a new database and pointing the game to use it… Or deleting the database and importing the backup… Or even rolling back the database to an old version…
Of course, if there is a daily backup routine…
Lack of power to make a hard decision and just too much “justice” in mind will cause injust situations for honest players, abusive players and new players…

the person who buys it most likely will have it removed. and the silver used will be returned to the user. and the seller will most likely be punished by a ban and serveral other things
