I'm Torn: Scout or Falconer?

I’m mostly into PvE, but I wouldn’t mind a little PvP on the side. I’m huge on thief classes in other MMOs, so I love the cloaking skill of Scouts. A little more AoE as well. Plus tbh I adore that costume. ._. However Falconer on paper looks good, maybe better. Increased AoE, some decent looking attacks, and who doesn’t wanna hang off a Falcon’s toesies.

Some questions though on Falconer:

  1. Is the defense ratio of monsters also decreased for people I’m partying with? I assume yes, but had to ask.
  2. Does this work on bosses?
  3. Should I get roost? Looks kinda… useless.
  4. Pheasant 5/5 and Hovering 3/5 or vice versa? What’s your preference?

do you plan on doing end game content pve wise? if so Falcon bring a lot to the team with the skills. The circeling gives you aoe as well turning your multi shot into multi hell

Yep I want to do end game content. I am falling in lurve with this class so much I may abandon my fencer… XD

then for team based you would want falcon scout is for pvp

Yeah I’m leaning heavily towards Falcon.

I’ll have to make a scout some day… xD

the day when rogue/scout don’t suck? when?
imo they should have made scout and rogue a totally different class revolving around a thief playstyle…
