This is a great game whit a old school mmo feeling that you cant find nowadays in the sea of crappy theme park style games that this generation is used to.
The last real mmo was lineage II before they made the change to adapt into all the trashy new ones.
the one and only problem that this game have is atracting young aged players because the “childish” feeling the graphic has.
and the youngs are like that, dont show respect, blame, cant be polite, etc.
No game is perfect, so the only thing we can do is ignore the unrational comments and play whit the other mentally mature people that enjoys a good game.
and about the measures imc is taking versus gold sellers and bots, they are doing a great job even when sacrificing player freedom. I saw games destroyed be bots, and i much rather prefer to wait 2 days to take my silver back than having to pay billions for a potion whit a inflated economy.

I used to enjoy the RTS genre until pro gamers in Korea turned it into a “How fast can you click” thing rather than actual strategy. And I am more of a deep slow thinker rather than a rapidly try to think of something while I’m destroying my fingers clicking a mouse at warp speed kind of person.

FPS is popular for the same reasons these forums are fun. No one actually enjoys the gameplay but the sh*t talking culture and troll culture and drama that permeates that genre keeps it strong.
That’s only the competitive MP aspect of RTS.
We do need more campaign-based RTS though.

Oh yeah I forgot about all that. Some of my fondest memories in gaming came from RTS campaigns actually I recently beat the Terran and Zerg campaigns for Starcraft 2 and they were fantastic as usual.
On my 7th character still enjoying the game.
Would I enjoy it more if things were at Ktos level sure.
But hey, what else am I going to play right now while I wait.
I’m part of the I guess minority that played International ragnarok back in the beginning of the first beta (followed by the 2nd beta, the long wait for the game to come back then the following release…). This company has a long way to go before they hit Gravity level of incompetence, or Nexon NA division for that matter (How the hell do you kill dungeon fighter online…), but before I go off on a rant, I’m just saying I know the things that need to be fixed, and the bugs that are here and but until I get bored trying new builds and experimenting I’ll hang around a bit. If they can fix the problems in that time, then great, if not well then I’ll find something else to play.
I’m sure one of the resident angry people will chime in and call me a white knight, or something of that matter, but screw it, if waiting for the company to fix things makes me that then I guess I’m that -shrugs-

I remember first and second beta… now that I think of it, first launch day kinda reminds me of how it went down here too with all the people. XD Don’t feel bad I get called a WK all the time too. 
I can only hope so. ToS needs to remove its chat filter and do a lot of other crap then I will make it my MMORPG for at least a year or more. Every time I log into ToS I feel like I’m playing a single player game and it sucks lol.
I just hope ToS improves faster than windows did lol.
The chat filter needs work. i wish it’d block things like w.ww and G0LD or WEBUYSELL. Instead of class. facepalm
The easiest fix for the chat filter would be to make it so it only blocks the offending word. Having it removing entire sentences/paragraphs LITERALLY makes me not want to talk to anyone in game. I seriously just don’t bother. I log in, single player it up and log off. That’s why I’m on these forums most of the time because I like socializing with a video game.
Also, I understand the reason for the megaphone but I really miss zone chats in MMOs… just being able to random shoot the sh*t with people in zones… but I suppose it will never happen with this game so oh well.
I totally understand how you feel. My leveling buddy got so frustrated because of it he’s not played in a week because I had no way of voice chatting while my PC was in repair and I was using my potato. -_-;
