You don’t understand because you’re missing the point entirely.
People don’t dislike the game. They dislike what’s being done to it and how it’s being handled which is something they hope their negative feedback can change.
The moment someone does legitimately hate the game, you don’t hear about it, they do in fact, just leave.
I’m still here. Do I hate the game? No, I don’t. Do I bash the game a lot? Hell yes I do. Why? Because it’s well deserved and IMC needs to get their heads out of their asses. In most cases, most of what you’re seeing are users just like me, who want to love the game but are being prevented from doing so because IMC decided any number of the dumb things they’ve done.
Whether you think it’s the right way to go about it is another thing altogether, but it’s pretty fruitless to go after people posting negative things, because they want the same thing you do, only difference is they’re doing something about it the way they know how, and you aren’t doing anything, just getting in their way, which is what puts you in the position to be called a white knight in the first place.

All we can do is wait…bashing is kinda useless cause we have no control over it…its up to IMC to decide what course of action to take…so yeah XD

I also don’t hate the game. But I also can’t love it.
Playing ToS feels not like playing a new game…it feels like playing a game that’s been running for 10 years and where they gonna shut the servers down soon. At least from the general atmosphere in Fedimian or the shout chat.
You can be lucky if there’s ONE grind per level range on Fedi server atm. Even at primetime. 60-90 min queue for missions are average because nobody after 240+ does missions anymore by the looks of it. Or they simply quit the game cause they realized their class is not as good as they thought or they simply got bored of the game.
And then what…even if you hit 280…what then? Where’s the raids to power through for even better gear? Imagine they told Nihilum or D&T that they were only allowed 2 tries on a boss in WoW back then, then they had to wait for another 24 hrs…they would’ve been furious. And that was in a game that still had max level dungeons and later daily quests, arena and multiple pvp maps.
People can go away with their stuff about attribute maxing. That stuff is so ridiculously overtuned that it’s not supposed to be done at this point. You need like 500 million + silver to do all the important skills. Funny part? There’s no maps or dungeons or anything to get this money easily. If you flood the market with rare recipe or arde dagger they’ll become useless eventually cause there’s not even that many new players / new chars comin in who could need all those things.
So yeah i’m not hating the game…but i’m really disappointed. They messed up in too many ways to be positive.
I don’t completely agree with the OP, but I also don’t hate the game either.
I like it a lot. That’s why I’m still around even though the game is trying it’s best to knock me out of it.
OP you really should’ve kept this to yourself.
People only see “White Knights” in here if you have anything positive to say about the game. They don’t understand that people might have a different point of view.

These threads are just rubbish and garbage, you either have a person express pure hatred against the game, or you have a person express pure love and the oh so holy “you can’t judge” impression.
But when someone neutral who is quitting or still playing the game expresses his opinions and how the game could be improved or such, people from both of those garbage sides (love and hate) seem to group up to shitpost and judge whoever actually has a non one sided opinion of the game.
Those who hate the game will not stop hating the game because you wrote an 1,081 worded article about how you shouldn’t hate the game, and it goes very well vice versa for the other side as well.

The game have problems even if you cant see them. After 6 year’s its half of the game. You dont see this as a problem?

The game is out in korea for 6 months +, what content updates they got?

Unfortunately I had cases where I said something on a post that was positive and was tagged as a White Knight, even though I had several previous posts complaining about various aspects of the game.
Some people, most of them really, will only see what they want to. Which is a shame since we could have some nice discussions in this Forum…

I think you are making some pretty big assumptions about what I do and do not get. Just like a lot of the responses to my thread. Shrug and people are entitled to their own opinions on things. Just like I am mine. You can’t disprove an opinion—just like I can’t make people that are dissatisfied with the game enjoy it by waving a long post in front of their face.
I didn’t post this to forum-shame people. I posted it because I felt like stating my own opinion. Because I was tired of seeing a majority of complaints. And there is plenty of hate on this forum. Hate isn’t the same as hateful. Hate is synonymous with dislike, prejudice, aversion and a lot of other negative words but I’m not here to give you an English lesson. I didn’t say that the majority hate the game. I’ve said that there is a lot of hate–a lot of heated dislike, negative reviews, trolling, nasty comments, frustration, anger, dissatisfaction (for valid and not-so-valid reasons). Frankly, you being unable to admit or see that is showing that you’re turning a blind eye to the damaging activities that are going on here and on other places where potential new players are finding out information.
I’m not blind to the issues this game has. People have listed them. Plenty. Repeatedly. All you have to do is go to the latest tab.
You know what you don’t see much of?
“Hey I really like this game. I’m having a good time despite the issues that are being worked on imo. Here’s what’s good about the game. Don’t let the negativity discourage you from trying it out.”
And for those of you who can’t tell the difference between a cheeky title and an attack on people, I don’t know what to say to you.
Anyone who thinks that I haven’t seen/experienced any problems and am just WKing the game, sorry that I wasn’t clear about it but no. I have issues. My potato desktop has been having nothing but. My laptop however doesn’t. I think I said so in the first post—there’s some things that have soley to do with the differences between different PC builds.
It’s like what Melon said in a previous thread a good week and a half ago.

OP, TLDR indeed, but the moment i saw your post says there’s a Content in this game, i stopped reading.
can you name at least 1 content they have which isn’t GvG and Mission and Dungeon? ( i dont even think that Mission and Dungeon can be called the content of this game )
dont get me wrong, i dont hate the game too, but i am getting bored of the game,
i wish i would not get bored after 1 month of the release, but what you do when you are 230+ is you login, you do 3 missions and 3 dungeons, and maybe if you are in a GvG war, you go around searching for Tower ( which is meaningless at the moment as there are no reward of some sort )
believe me when i say this, i really love ToS overall, but this game has close to zero content right now other than grind and do quest.
when they do add Raids, or maybe even Faction quests, and some sort of PvP modes ( Castle War, 5v5, arena, etc, )
i will love this game a thousand times more.
ps: oh but i do Hope they really put effort in making boss fight, i mean, this is probably the only MMO that when it comes to boss fight, i dont even put any effort fighting it and still won without any issue. that’s bad!
